Penquis - Bangor

Im very thankful for the help I have gotten in the past but I am very disappointed that when I called and asked a question I got spoke to so rude then I asked do u know anywhere that does help w that and she basically said it isnt her job to figure it out well why do u work at a job that helps ppl if u r so nasty. And I also had to call three days in a row more then once a day to talk to someone. Place is going down hill due to the not so friendly workers. Ill b doing reviews everywhere I can. -5 stars

This is a very helpful building for people that dont have enough income to support their family all the way to get school bags fuel assistance and rent vouchers find it a helpful and useful building I have used it before in the past from time to time and it wasnt real hard program to understand or to follow staff seems to be kind and courteous and realize that youre having trouble struggling getting through and they tend to take the time to seem to care

So Ive been using Penquis Transportation on and off for a few years now and at first it was great and there were no issues. I had rides as early as I needed and was able to get home in time to get ready for work or whatever my day consisted of. Since December 2021 things have definitely gone down hill in a major way with the dispatchers and scheduling and whomever Ive dealt with aside from the drivers. The drivers have been 100 great and always on time with the exception of one or 2 bad apples I have nothing but good with the drivers. But having to call and change my time because of the appointment needing to be longer has become impossible. The disrespect and straight out discrimination from the dispatchers and schedulers is definitely not what youd expect from a so called professional in such a position.

Monty was super fast and efficient in helping me get a furnace installed through the Chip program.

Refuse to return calls or emails in regards to heating.. I have tried to change my address for a week to get oil and they refuse. I have emailed the document requested and current cant drive but will be paying someone to bring me to Bangor today. Im appalled that they claim to help so many people but refuse to simply change an address in OCT.. I have be3n trying to change it for 2 weeks..

Every time I go there the reception is always super nice always really polite. It always major helpful never once has anyone been snotty or mean

I get rides from Penquis 7 days a week. Thank you to all the volunteer drivers. Without you all their would be alot less people able to get their transportation needs met.

They have been very helpful and Im very appreciative for there help

If it werent for this place kids these days wouldnt be able to visit their parentsif you know you know. or have proper education during formative years. Parents wouldnt be able to find resources to help them through hardship. The staff are ALWAYS objective kind compassionate and helpful. Thank you guys for being there.
