They are very helpful in guiding me to the resources I need for my child. Super friendly staff. Clean environment and they have an area for kids to seat and watch a movie while waiting to me seen.

Im having my IPP meeting on November 3rd Im almost about to be 24. I dont even know why I am still part with this agency they done less work with me also they have not even inform me every service they offer. And I dont receive any kind of aid from them. Update so my so-called Service Coordinator whos specialize with adults failed to respond to my gmails within a 24hr period which is disappointing. She failed to message me or call me to set up an IPP meeting before my birthdaywhich usually occur the first week of the month I did not request to postpone my IPP which I think its a violation of the Regional Centers policy.

My 3yo son has been diagnosed with autism a year ago by our psychologist and has an IEP. However the regional center stated to give him services THEY must evaluate him. So after applying for the regional center I had to wait 4 months for his evaluation. Finally after the evaluation I am told I must wait up to an additional 4 months for a diagnosis. Now why couldnt he receive his diagnosis immediately during the evaluation I am constantly advocating for my son and have called several times only to be routed to voicemail boxes. I am never called back within the 2 day period they assure. Finally after giving pushback and escalating the calls I am told that when they eventually diagnose him I will have to further wait as all services are waitlisted. Its already been 10 months and my son still has not received services. This is ridiculous. I understand there is a high demand for services but the county needs to do better. Hire more staff And prioritize our disabled children as they are falling further behind

The doctor injured my child in an inappropriate place on his body too near his private area. Keep your eyes open. Do not let them be with your children alone. I do not trust them anymore. The doctors and 90 of the staff are contracted and the supervisor basically told me they have no control over who ends up working for them no background checks seem to be in place. The doctor whispered a threat about my sons private parts to him right before hurting him seconds later on his leg. She left marks and bruises and a scratch on his leg at the end of his evaluation appointment when we were trying to leave. The supervisor threatened to take away his help and services after I made the complaint. This help we were looking for has turned into a traumatic nightmare for both of us especially him. He was screaming and crying when she did it. And she didnt ask me or tell me or inform me that she was going to touch my child at all. She is a stranger to us. Do not take your child to Dr. Griffins

honestly this place needs to lose all its funding I am a mother of an eight year old special needs child with cerebral palsy my daughter requires certain medical equipment and I have been fighting with this regional center for the past eight months for my daughters chair .they are fully aware that she outgrew her old one and is now uncomfortable in the chair she has now there excuse as to why they havent provided her with what shes entitled to as a client is they dont have enough funding for it at this point i believe they are violating my daughters rights and am placing formal complaints on everyone involved as well as seeking legal representation for my daughter.PLEASE PEOPLE DONT LET THIS REGIONAL CENTER GET AWAY WITH THEM NEGLECTING THEIR CLIENTS NEEDS. AS A CLIENT YOU HAVE RIGHTS AND THEY HAVE RESPONSIBILITIES. KEEP A PAPER TRAIL OF ALL COMMUNICATIONS AND PLACE FORMAL COMPLAINTS ON ALL INVOLVEDwhich leads me to question what are they doing with all the state and federal government funding that they receive if they cant buy a client the proper medical equipment that they are entitled to

My daughter has been abused by CCS the Palmdale School district and numerous doctors throughout Southern California. The Regional Center offers no support or advocacy. They allow the children of Palmdale to be abused and taken advantage of and do nothing to help. They offer no services just collect signatures so they can get paid then double down on your victimization by minimizing it or just our right refusing to help and then getting annoyed by your growing distress. Ten years my child an I suffered in Palmdale and the Regional center refused to help. When you reach out to the main office they do the same. This organization is about assisting the abusers of the disabled population not serving the community.
