Ive worked at the Child and Family Department Early Intervention about 3-4 years ago. While I was training my trainer told a family that speech delays were due to genetics in addition to telling them that she was suspecting autism. I brought this issue up to Kristen my supervisor at the time. Flew right over her head. A week ago I ended up coming across a family who had just completed their intake with a service coordinator. The family told me that the service coordinator also gave them false information about child development not knowing that they the parents - one is a pediatrician while the other is a BCBA. Trust your evaluators. Not your service coordinator if you ever want to receive early intervention from this place. 95 of the service coordinators hired do not have anything higher than a bachelors degree in psychology nor are their degree in child development or behavioral health.

If you have a loved one in a program that Dave Boggs runs GET OUT He is pure awful to deal with. From an outsider looking in Ive also seen the way he treats staff I would not want my loved one in a program with him. We learn the hard way. I felt bad for all staff in that house as well for putting up with him. Run Personal belongings get misplaced which is very disheartening putting my loved one into a house or a program they better get the best care. I would check into other possible places to put your loved one in and get far away from Clearbrook as you can. Even if this was the last place available I would not recommend

They literally have dangerous conditions for the residents. If you take someone here you should expect for them to be neglected hurt and potentially worse.

After visiting their administrative offices with my developmentally disabled brother in tow first thing I noticed was an all white administrative staff and the ladies evaluating my brother seemed way more interested in judging me hardly paying any attention to their potential client my 68 year old brother so much so that it made me extremely uncomfortable. Was sent there by ISSA representative at CAU because Clearbrook had listed openings but during the interview suddenly told there were no more openings. Lots of stone cold staring from the one woman. Anyway aferwards read some of these reviews so it probably would not have been a good fit.

Im so upset frustrated and so mad... its about my child and all they could say was sorry..My daughter was not able to do things and the age she required. Roll tummy time out weight on legs and had issues swallowing. The Dr gave me a referral I was referred to this facility in hopes that they could answe any question or take this pressure of feeling I did something wrong or is something wrong with my child. I had to wait two months to get a call back a week after to get evaluated had told the staff about all my concerns and yet it took them about a month to get her therapy. After all this turns out the case worker that was handeling my case either got fired or she quit because I never got a call or no one reached out to me until today... I had taken my daughter back to her 1yr evaluation with her Dr to tell me to stop getting services from them shes doing great and what ever Im doing at home continue.. and still have not received a call from them to cancel my case to let me know who my new case worker is nothing instead all I got was a let me look into this... please parent ask the question be on top of them therapy should not take long to get provided to your child they should be on top because your concerns should be theres and making sure they contact you.Very disappointed I was so upset because this is my child.

My biggest gripe with this place--and the reason I give it one star---is its as though theres a black hole in my sons room that sucks every item belonging to him into it never to be seen again. Clothes and personal items that arent nailed to a wall disappear. If its anything thats loose its gone He has lived there only a few months and literally dozens of his personal belongings have disappeared from his room closets and drawers. Of the 30 or so items of clothing he moved in with I think maybe 10 are still there. All his belongings have his name on them. I spent hours sewing name tags I had made up for him onto dozens of items of clothing to no avail. They still disappear. A pair of shoes I bought for him recently disappeared between the day I put them in his room and later in the week when I visited again. I ask staff including management what happened to his things and no one knows anything. The management says they will organize a search but never once has one lost item been recovered. Either ambulatory residents go into his room and take things in which case staff ought to be able to recover them IF they made any real effort to search as they promise they will. Yeah right. If its not other residents its staff. There is no other possibility. If thats the case Clearbrook employs thieves which doesnt seem to trouble them not a bit. What angers me the most is not ONCE has management ever offered to replace even one stolen item. A person has to be as low as can be to steal from a disabled person who cant protect his own personal belongings I wouldnt accept the offer of replacement because I know how strapped they are but at least if they would offer ONCE I wouldnt hate them so much. Its just not worth it for his family to buy him anything ever. Nine out of 10 chances it will be gone within a week to a month maybe two at most. The care my son gets there is passable--adequate to stay within minimum state guidelines to keep their license but not much more than that. If you have a disabled loved one needing residential care but you care about whether your loved one is stolen from on a regular basis maybe try to find someplace else.
