If there was a bigger rating than 5 stars American Advocacy Group well deserves it. From the beginning everyone I spoke with to help with my sons case did outstanding work. Got me better results that I expected and Also got greater results at my sons yearly reassessment. If you need help with ihss dont go it alone. The team at American Advocacy Group is beyond amazing and the best at what they do from beginning to end. If I could give them ten stars I would They are very knowledgeable and attentive particularly Bernice Ramirez. Throughout the whole time Bernice has been accommodating and patient. She exceeded my expectations and I am so grateful for her and has indeed been a godsend throughout the entire process. Ive never met anyone so passionate about what they do and genuinely cares about people. I cant tell you how often she called me back after business hours to answer my concerns.I am a 72 years old grandmother who cares for my grandson with Autism and Aspergers. My daughter doesnt trust anyone else to care for him and rightfully so. Unfortunately Im not business savvy and dont have the time and patients to learn at my age. I have been caring for my grandson since he was a baby and quite honestly we never knew about IHSS. My friends daughter told me about it and referred me to this law office. Ill be honest with you the first thing I thought was I could never afford legal representation. When you are in financial distress it isnt easy to think clearly and make good decisions. That in addition to not understanding the legal process complicates matters even more. They explained the law and outlined in clear language the steps in the process that needed to be done. They were reassuring articulate knowledgeable and effective. They made the process much easier and gave me peace of mind in a stressful but successful outcome.The best part is you dont pay anything until your case has been approved. Also what I paid was nothing in comparison to what I received. Im also a firm believer that you get what you pay for. Strangely enough I also discovered through this entire process that I would have never stood a chance to receive the hours I deserved by attempting to file everything independently because no one guides you through the process correctly. And because of that I firmly believe that I would have 100 been denied trying to do so all on my own. So if youre anything like myself and caring for someone and in need of IHSS and looking for quality representation call the American Advocacy Group as I highly recommend them as it was the best decision Ive ever made.

I was referred to American Advocacy Group by a member of Club 21 in Pasadena CA. I wasnt sure what I was getting myself into since I have won an appeal on my own before but I do have to say it was the best decision I made. They have helped me so much I would have been so lost without them. It started with Frank since day one then Rachel and last was David Khoury. They helped me through the entire process and being a special needs mom sometimes you need that hand on hand walk. Again I been in these appeal before but I would have not been here without them.We are still in the mid process but I do hope soon I come back and update the review that we won the case in Jesus name. Thank you American Advocacy group.

A.A.G. are really with you every step of the way. I dont know what I would have done without them yes you need to give them copies like IEP regional Center reports and anything else to prove your case and that is totally understandable. They will take care of the rest they seriously take that burden from you of having to fill out any paperwork or forms having to speak with anybody prior to the first assessment. Yes you will have to speak to the social worker since you are the parent and the county will want to speak to you thats part of the process when applying. but they are on the phone representing you when that time comes so youre not alone. All the people that helped me from AAG like Olivia to Bernice to Rachel to the amazing David Khoury All these wonderful people who are very passionate about what they do do everything in their power to fight for your child and you. They always either answered my phone call or called me back when they couldnt answer right at that second emailed me as soon as they could or txt me back within minutes. Again I dont know what I would have done without them. So I want to give them all a big thank you from the bottom of my heart you all dont know how much you helped out this already stressed out mom. A parent who has a child with special needs already has so much going on so you guys doing what you do helps us out tremendously.I highly recommend AAG and yes there are fees but they are understandable and work with you so thats another thing to not to worry about.UpdateI did have to go to court to fight for protective supervision last month it was over the phone because the social workers I had were horrible. Again AAG helped me the enter way especially David Khoury who was representing me in the trial. So happy to report we won the case and could not be any more grateful this whole Ihss process was insane but could not have done it without them

They are a 3rd party that say they are with IHSS. Dont get fooled. They are compassionate and act understanding. After they get all yours or your childs info they will hit you with the contract that says you will pay 10000 for 1 year of their services and 40 of the income that you get from IHSS. dont waste your time. They take advantage of people with special needs and families. Go through your counties website. All the info is there and a quick Google search will help you.
