Our first supervisor was great - compassionate patient and creative. Our third BI was inexperienced pushy and overly touchy. Our second supervisor no showed on our first appointment and later had my child perform like a dog as he cried. Stand up turn around hands up for reward stars before he could play with his puzzle. This is not ok. Do not leave your young or nonverbal child unsupervised with any BI or therapist in-home or in-clinic. Were done with ABA.

Positives- Social groups for different ages and functioning levels- Saturday sessions- Programs are designed well for helping your kids become more independent and do better in social situations. The group sessions are a perfect place to practice these things.- Most employees are good-hearted students and they have a difficult job. Go easy on them and listen to their input as well as the supervisors. They know what theyre talking about.- Helpful job to have if youre in college or just out of college as its a flexible schedule to work around classes and a great learning experience.NegativesAces is only concerned with milking as much of that sweet insurance money as possible. That means theyre more than willing to cut corners and do ethically questionable things that negatively impact their employees the clients and their families. Heres some examples- Place newinexperienced B.I.s on difficult cases- Give supervisors too many clients to oversee.- Switch B.I.s and clients around for scheduling convenience or insurance money milking with no regard to whether if its a good match or not.- Grossly underpay their employees. Employees get criminally low rates for the amount of stressful work they have to do and much of their drive time is not paid as well.- Employees have to sign shady legal documents that prevent them from saying negative things about the company for up to 2 years after they quit.- Aces Inc. employs a full-time legal team to handle all of the lawsuits from clients. Red flag much- Aces has had to settle lawsuits from employees as well for inadequate compensation and crossing legal boundaries that hinder employee rights.- Very high turn over rate Although the nature of this job contributes to that naturally ACES rate is MUCH higher as many supervisorsemployees are frustrated with management and quit earlier than expected.I could go on but I dont have time to write a novel. If youre an employeeWork somewhere else Dont takestay in this company unless the alternative is being homeless.ParentsTake your child elsewhere. I recommend Maxim Healthcare Services as theyre in Carlsbad are much more ethically responsible and treat their employees with respect. Dont use Aces unless you dont have a good alternative.I will NOT delete this review of my own accord. If you see this review disappear ACES is trying to hide it. Please share this review save it write your own anything to make sure clients and employees opinions and the truth is not swept under the rug.
