Mr. Lorenzo was the best and Mr. Jose the night shift staff in the anex. Gaye was the worst and Demetrius was too but he saved me from being harassed from staff member at camp.

I have worked as security here for the last 24 years as my side job. Not the greatest of neighborhoods but I have seen worse. Mostly new employees but all seem nice.

As a kid this place gave me a chance help me stay out trouble so I applied for a job but since I didnt have a license I guess I wasnt chosen or maybe because I had a record..but thats the type of people they should be hiring those who made mistakes learned from them and made something from it. Ive worked with adults ex-cons homeless population and those suffering from addiction I did that for 10yrs. Now that I want to work with youth I cant get a chance its sad because I have lots to offer and I believe I can help some of these kids to not end up in prison. But I wish the best on this program.

When i was younger i was placed in Davis house. Tbh i had a pretty good experience. The staff was very kind. When the night shift hit it was iffy. They were kind but not very focused on the job. One man i remember calling Mr. Tim was the nicest man i ever met and he was always there for me. Some of the people there do make things easier to process for the children and make sure they adjust easily. If you act accordingly you do get treated very well and get many privileges just like in life. If not then you do go on punishment and get consequences. Ive seen a lot of bad reviews and wonder has it changed so much. Granted this was almost 11 years ago i think but if it has its really sad because i did not have a horrible experience.

My friends child is there and being forced to act like another person all together. Not being allowed to be ones self is a punishment in itself above and beyond. She was told that her child is being bullied harassed and harmed because they do not provide protection for the children Its not our job. is what she was told. Is this what is done to children here in NJ Where is the help the educating the proper dealing with their mental needs Its sad very sad and if it is not it should be criminal.

This place is terrible the staff but on this nice bubbly persona but behind closed doors they are their for a paycheck. They dont properly watch the kids they are verbally abusive to them and the security is non existent. 3 kids just went AWOL in a month and half including my son with no police report filed on their behalf This staff needs to be fired Very and not informative to the parents without a cooperative uproar Dyfs needs to remove these kids and find another placement for them to get their proper mental health needed
