If I could I would give them 6 stars. My son needed Speech Therapy and I took him to a clinic that right off the bat I had a bad feeling about and just knew this wasnt the place for him. I then found Word of Mouth and called for a consult and just from speaking with the Director Lynne I knew this was the place for my son and that they only had the best interest for him them being moms as well. My son has been working with the Assistant Director and SLP Jennifer Childs and we both absolutely love her. Not only is she caring patient treats my son like he were her own but she is amazing in her treatment and therapy sessions with my son. I am so grateful to have found Word of Mouth and I just know my son will succeed and graduate soon and be talking at the level of his age in no time. Definitely would recommend to any parents with the need of Speech Therapy for their kids.

Our son started at Word of Mouth around age 2.5. He didnt have many words and was very delayed in his overall speech abilities. We were recommended to Word of Mouth by his preschool. His progress at Word of Mouth with Lara Kate has been exceptional. He met with Lara Kate at his school first twice a week and then just once a week for 30 - 45 minutes sessions. He now just shy of 4 talks non-stop is easy to understand and will graduate from Word of Mouth I am beyond grateful for Lara Kate and Lynne and everyone at Word of Mouth. Cannot recommend enough

My daughter was at Word of Mouth for a little under 1 year. We worked with Lara Kate and I couldnt say enough positive words in recommending this place. Every person who works here is caring thoughtful educated well trained and they seem happy to do the work theyre doing. My daughter was there specifically for speech and I was given tools to help her and practice with her at home. She loved going to speech so much that she actually cried on her last day because she was going to miss coming We felt very thankful to work with such phenomenal people.

Word of Mouth was a huge blessing in my familys life. They helped my daughter and my family in many ways. We saw our daughter grow and develop in many areas of her life. My wife and I received necessary education and learned to work patiently with her. The staff modeled patience and I learned so much from their example. I am deeply grateful for Word of Mouth.

Both of our sons have worked with OT andor speech services at Word of Mouth with tremendous success. Our oldest son really struggled with sitting still to focus on his work his fine motor skills were behind and we were at a loss. We are now watching him learn grow and enjoy doing his school work. It is amazing how far he has come. We are grateful for our friends at Word of Mouth and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Our pediatrician referred us to Word of Mouth after I brought up concerns about a speech delay at my daughters 2 year checkup. As a nurse practitioner myself I know how important early intervention is so we sought an evaluation at his recommendation. I was impressed right off the bat when I contacted them - within 1 or 2 days of calling I had discussed my daughters individual case with their director and had been offered a few options for appointment times in the upcoming weeks. Every person I have talked to there has displayed the utmost professionalism and you can tell they really care about what they do. We met with their SLP Jennifer Childs and the director Lynne Robertson at my daughters first evaluation. Within minutes my typically shy child was smiling playing with Jennifer and following her instructions - Jennifer really seems to bea toddler whisperer of some sorts. In even just that short hour I learned so much about ways we can help our daughter expand her speech throughout our day-to-day life at home. The tips they gave were practical specific to our daughters needs and felt very achievable. It has been a few weeks since we initially went and my husband and I both already see a difference in her interest to communicate and make more wordssounds. We feel confident going forth that we asparents are doing all wecan and are grateful to have the support of Word of Mouth too. I cannot recommend them highly enoughUPDATE 2282022 Wanted to hop on and update my review to include that after a few months of working with our daughter at home it became clear she was in need of a higher level of intervention which we were able to more clearly recognize thanks to what WOM had taught us in the initial evaluation. We started speech therapy in June 2021 and WHAT A DIFFERENCE it has made She worked with Alecia Jackson who is truly a miracle worker and to whom we will be forever grateful. Our daughter went from not being able to put 2 words together in JuneJuly to singing carols in the backseat by Christmas. Our friends and family have noticed a huge change and now refer to her as a chatterbox. She had a great rapport with Ms. Alecia and looked forward to all of her sessions She is now all caught up and it is bittersweet for us to finish our time with them. Forgive the lengthy review but once again just want to sing praises to WOM and Alecia

Our son 21 months has been working with Jennifer Childs at Word of Mouth for a couple of months now and we are so impressed He has come a long way in his speech development since he started and the best part is he really enjoys his twice a week visits

We are so grateful for Word of Mouth and for Elizabeth our sons speech therapist. Our son who has a language processing disorder and adhd has made such huge strides this year with both Interactive Metronome and speech therapy and has gone from underperforming in most areas to being on par with his classmates and above average in many. Elizabeth also works hand in hand with his school and teacher and the collaboration between the school and therapist has been such a blessing to his learning. We cant say enough wonderful things about them

We have used the services at Word of Mouth for a little over 4 years. Our son has had tremendous progress in speech and occupational therapy. He is currently in a Nashville private school and thriving Our son did Interactive Metronome therapy at Word of Mouth this summer and had HUGE and quick improvements...cannot recommend it enough Our daughter has never met criteria to have any services and we still signed her up for IM therapy as well Everyone can benefit from this awesome new therapy...from focus in the classroom to basic coordination....it really is amazing

We have had services for a little over two months and my 2 year old has already made so much progress. My daughter attends preschool at Kiddie Academy but we were noticing some significant delays in pronunciation of easy words. Jennifer assessed our daughter and made sure to only incorporate excercises she knew my daughter could do at home for practice. The sessions are 30 minutes twice a week and our daughter is so much happier now that we can understand her more clearly and she doesnt have to repeat herself so much or point to what she may want at that time. If you have a 2 year old and are on the fence about seeking support for your childs speech delay- take them see the specialist at WOM They arent pushy and will let you know when they have accomplished the goals with your child. So happy we made the decision to help our daughter become more confident and speak more clearly by going to Word of Mouth. Thank you ladies
