I got neuropsychological testing to evaluate my children for need of accommodations on standardized tests and for college. The staff were very professional and the doctors were excellent at working with my children to administer the tests in a manner that made them comfortable. They did a great job crafting reports on the testing. It was clear from their writing that their evaluations were precise and accurate. I never had any problems with communicating with the front desk on scheduling or insurance matters. I plan to use this group for my next childs testing and would recommend them to anyone seeking similar services.

Just called this place to schedule an appointment for my daughters evaluation. Receptionist is incompetent and gives false information. I went on their website and no where on the website does it state we do not participate with any insurance company. She stated they do not participate with any insurance company. I asked for the eval quote she said 4000-8000. Where is she getting these numbers from A comprehensive exam should not cost 4000. She deliberately gave me false information. On this medical office website it clearly states the process of an evaluation starts with the receptionist requesting personal information after that a phone call is going to be scheduled for any concern the patient may have. NEITHER was done. Poor service. I wasted my time to write this just to alert any person seeking help from this office.

Stixrud and Associates supposedly specializes in diagnosing mental health concerns. But despite being referred there they neither return call or email sent to make an initial appointment.It is a mountain of work for a person seeking mental health assistance for the first time anyone who truly needs the service is likely facing issues with executive function organization and a history of mistreatment by the medical community at large. At best this is a staffing issue but that leads to the question do they care at all about patients if they cant even bother to respond to people seeking helpIf this occurred for a physical instead of mental health doctor it would be clearly breaking the Hippocratic Oath. The first thing they do is harm.
