Im a former patient of this doctor. Im 99 certain hes just a pill mill. Im a high functioning adult with ADD who relocated from the east. Texas law mandates that pharmacies dont accept out of state prescriptions for ADD medicine which I respect. I picked this doctor at random from the google results because he was closest to the house. Ironically he only does video or phone appointments anyway had I known. He charges 300 for the initial appointment. Fine. Ive been on the same drug same dosage for nearly a decade. But fine. This doctor proceeded to tell me his life journey for 45 minutes. Not that I needed much beyond a prescription but for 300 he could have made some effort. In the end I just need a prescription so I patiently listened. Maybe I should have charged him lol Every 3 months he charges me 75 for what he bills as a 15 minute minute prescription consultation. Literally these consultations are 30 second phone calls. He cant get me off the phone fast enough.The last straw was that I had a gap between prescription consultations of 6 months because I was out of the country all summer. His office policy was to charge me 300 again for a new one hour starting session....after like two years and eight 30 second prescription consultations. Thanks but no thanks. For 300 Id rather get a real doctor.

Dr. Reading and his staff have always been highly professional extremely organized All on the same page on point.Most importantly from my personal experience they go above and beyond their call of duty for their patients if need be.

Ive been a patient of Dr Readings for 5 years. Hes excellent. His staff is excellent. Highly Recommend.

Staff was not helpful they where to focused on making an appointment rather then verifying my insurance and then once I found out my insurance covered they where quick to backtrack and say I was going to have to follow up on my own as we dont do that here nothing worst then a doctors office that is worried about making money rather then helping their patients.

Ive been his patient for a few years and hes a fantastic doctor. He doesnt push to talk about things unless Im ready. The couple of bad reviews I see are about billing. Most Doctor offices charge a fee of youre late or dont show. Just call to reschedule at a reasonable time and that wont happen. Ive never been charged for that. I have 3 kids and things come up all the tint. Anyways... GREAT DOCTOR

Dr. Reading and his staff are wonderful. My life truly has changed for the better by the quality care Ive received over the years. I couldnt be more appreciative to them. I recommend Dr. Reading to anyone who needs a top notch doctor.

I have been with the doctor 3 years now. Hes the best doctor u can ask for .really.he change my life and way I look at it.and I cant being to explain how nice the staff is. Omg Dawn is the most nicest person I ever met she cairs so much and help me Everytime the cvs gave me headache with my insurance and mid. What more can you ask for. I am so thankful too God that I made the right choice with going here.

Dr. Reading and his team are awesome I have never seen or even heard of a practice that is so home-like private cozy and professional - ALL at the same time. Dr. Reading and his team are very ethical and operate with integrity - which is honestly priceless to me. I literally have never felt better mentally and its all because of Dr. Readings trustworthy skills experience and knowledge. Thank you Dr. Reading and team for changing my life

I was a patient for Dr.Reading for alittle bit over a year and unfortunately I cut ties and moved on. Now they have a policy if you miss an appointment you have to pay for that appointment 75 and reschedule and pay for another appointment. I understood that rule if I called the next day or even an hour late. I was 15 minutes late There have been several times Ive had to wait an hour past my appointment time for Mr.Reading to see me and I never complained Now back to my 15 minute late appointment Theresa his wifesuggested I should get on a payment plan to pay off the extra 75 and that they gave me a wave back in 917. I told her that was time during Harvey and she laughed and said that was after Harvey. I said to her uhhh the repercussions of Harvey I mean a huge hurricane displaced almost the entire city of Houston. No remorse and talking to patients like that with mental illnesses is disgusting. Its hard to get people to stay on their meds let alone show up to a psychiatrist . Then I just told her Ill find somebody else funny thing is she left me voicemails saying no one will take me right away and blah blah and I had just found one within 5 minutes and have already seen him. For an extra 75 costed them 900 a year for a loyal client . Money seems to be more important then helping his patients. Look this guy up on the Texas Board of directors. Apparently hes had his license revoked before though reinstated.

Watch out for Dr. Reading. His billing practices are unethical and illegal. His office will automatically schedule appointments with or without your knowledge or consent. If you miss these unwanted appointments he will take your billing information on file and charge it without your consent. How can a patient feel comfortable conveying sensitive and personal information when even their billing information is not kept secure. I would never trust Dr. Reading or his staff. They are wolves in sheeps clothing. Look elsewhere.
