My daughter and I had the pleasure of attending the free canoeing event on October 10th at Roberto Clemente Park. It was soooo much fun My daughter is 5 years old it was her first-time canoeing. Im elated that she had such a memorable experience. One of our instructors names was Emma she was awesome the entire staff was great and were looking forward to upcoming events

We did the family boundary waters trip with 4 adults 3 kids 10 9 and 4 and the two Wilderness Inquiry guides. We had a fabulous time. None of the kids had ever tent camped before and they all took too it so well. The guides or I believe WI calls them outdoor leaders we had Lee and Laura were amazing. I was very happy with the things we did the food provided and mostly happy with the equipment it was the end of the season so some of the stuff was in a little rougher shape then it would have been earlierThe only complaint I had was I would have booked more than two campsites for the 5 tents we had for the whole group but we made it work

Ive been on many trips with WI and each is special and memorable. Until recently I did all the logistics for camping backpacking canoeing and kayaking trips usually with my daughters their families and friends but sometimes by myself for many years. Now its too hard for me to do the heavy lifting and that is where WI excels. The well-training and compassionate staff provide as little or as much assistance as is requested. I plan to continue taking two or three WI trips per year for as long as I can hopefully many years. Looking forward to meeting new folks on WI trips.

I have been on several Wilderness Inquiry WI trips the most recent being the Florida Everglades canoe trip. For most of my life I have organized and led trips for example to the BWCAW every year with my daughters. In the past few years an arthritic hip has made it difficult to do the heavy lifting. I discovered Wilderness Inquiry whose mission is to ensure that the wilderness is accessible to ALL and thajnk goodness am able to spent time in the deep woods again. I am so impressed with the skill dedication and compassion of the WI staff. They are extraordinary at creating a welcoming and inclusive experience and building comradery among the group members. Plus providing healthy meals and doing the heavy lifting. I plan to continue to participate in one or two WI trips each year as long as I am able and WI can likely extent my able period. Next WI trip is to the Apostle Islands next month.

After a number of years volunteering with Wilderness Inquiry WI I had the opportunity to take my own students on an outdoor adventure through WI. From the start of our correspondence I found them to be incredibly helpful doing all they could to meet my needs and the needs of my students They were so well organized highly skilled at working with children from diverse backgrounds and saw to every detail All of this made our all day field trip very manageable and a complete success I look forward to future adventures with my students and WI

I have been Doing Wilderness Inquiry trips for 18 years know. Some of the trips I have been on were to the Boundary waters trip one being a lodge base trip out of Ely MN. were we hiked one day went canoeing another day and it was well worth it. Another trip I went on was to the Apostle Islands were we stayed at the Little Sands Base Camp that Wilderness Inquiry owns up by Bayfield Wisconsin. With the Apostle Islands You can travel out and see various different sea caves and come back and enjoy the evening.

My son and I went on our first Wilderness Inquiry trip when he was 8 he is now 26 and I am a grandma. These guys are amazing. Ive seen some pretty great things met so many good people and was treated like family. I truly believe Wilderness Inquiry helped in making my son the man he is today. I cant say enough good things about these folks. Get on the trail with them and see for yourself. Youll have once in a lifetime memories that last a lifetime.

A few years ago I went on a Wilderness Inquiry womens winter trip with a friend. Its a great organization with wonderful staff. They do an incredible job of taking care of everyone and their individual needs. We stayed in a YWCA Lodge near the Boundary Waters the food was great as well as the facility. I will definitely do another trip with them as soon as my schedule allows and I highly recommend them to everyone.

My husband and I have kayaked on the Great Lakes and elsewhere for over 50 years. In 2016 well into our nineties we had the opportunity for a 4-day weekend camping and kayaking with Wilderness Inquiry in Lake Superior. We had just the right amount of help and support and had a most enjoyable time. Especially impressed by the philosophy that the trip is for everyone rather than a competitive attitude of who can experience the most daring or strenuous feats of paddling
