Westside Children's Therapy - Willowbrook

My son is attending Willowbrook location since December 2021. There were times we were skeptical about his progress but staff were amazing to guide through all hurdles. There were times we have to cancel therapy at last minute due to health concerns or transport issues front desk helped with all situations. ABA therapist Ashley was very patience with our son and she regularly communicated strategies she used at clinic and what worked for my son. Therapist Aids are amazing. Specially Dainika sorry if misspelled . She always greets my son with big smiles and shows excitement to have him. Another therapist aids kristin also understands my son a lot. She shares all fun moments he had in the therapy.My son has improved significantly his attention participation in activities and certain behaviors. We are very happy with location.Good luck to anyone who is reading this review.

Westside Autism Therapy has been the most considerate and accommodating facility for our daughter since August 2021. Beginning with intake the staff were extremely thorough with their initial screening with our 2 year-old at the time. Every aspect of our daughters therapy needs were considered to include Feeding OT PT ST and most importantly ABA. Before diving into the experiences weve had and progress weve seen. We would first like to commend Alicia and Ibrahim for always welcoming us at drop off every morning with nothing but great words of our daughters progress. Additionally Alicia truly showed the upmost diligence in servitude and resourcefulness in handling insurance issues that eventually arose which was finally handled by the upper echelons of the company. This was an astounding result for us as we came to a point of almost complete despair in continuing our daughters much needed therapy sessions.Since August of 2021 our daughter has excelled and surpassed expectations of the lead ABA therapist of the facility. Our daughter went from having ZERO eye contact to actively engaging the therapists with little to no prompting. Her communication although remains non-verbal has drastically increased with more than subtle hand cues which has made communication more effective on our receiving end. Our daughter has become more physically active and excited to partake in park play and running thanks to OT and PT. What blew us away thanks to ST was our daughters ability to now use a picture diagrams PECS to communicate her needs. At now 3 years old she is able to point out common objects and colors after verbal cues. She responds to her name especially when shes up to mischief lol.Functional training at Westside through all therapies has helped her in developing both fine and gross motor skills. One thing that completely took our breath away was our daughters ability to interact with other children being that this a trait that is extremely lacking with many Autistic children. Her BCBA Therapist Dean keeps us updated on weekly basis on our daughters progress while educating us as parents in the aspects of Behavioral Analysis making it easy to understand her behavioral trends and progress. We certainly couldnt have wished for any one more passionate about their career and our daughters care.Lately our daughter has been trying to get verbal words out. We know that she is steadily getting a day closer to that every day. Shes become more independent every day and she expresses her love to us more with hugs and snuggles.Thank you to all the staff of Westside Autism Therapy Services of Willowbrook. Two words. Miracle worker. My son is a very picky eater and after everything we tried failed to work we looked into feeding therapy. The noticeable change in how my son approaches new foods is something I thought I would never see. Ms. Alyssa waved her magic wand after the first visit and helped my son FINALLY realize that there are other delicious foods than nuggets and fries. I am forever grateful.

We worked with many staff at the Willowbrook location scheduling billing therapists during our babys 7 months of therapy and all were amazing in her care and our assistance. Their big hearts were appreciated when we felt scared and overwhelmed during an unfamiliar journey. With their help our torticollis baby graduated today

Shorewood location was just amazing. I was there for an evaluation for my child. I seen a child giving staff kind of a difficult time. No yelling just not wanting to do what was asked. The child seemed to have found something he liked and wanted to look at it. The staff was curious to know what caught his attention. I was just amazed how the staff handled the situation. I know special needs kids is challenging and can take a toll on anyone and parents. But I was really happy seeing everyone working together with the kids.

Greer is Amazing My daughter has a hard time being away from certain family members. After about 2 sessions she loves to go alone with her. Shes always so happy when it time for pick up and her vocabulary has definitely been improving. It definitely puts my mind at ease knowing she enjoys her teacher while having fun and learning.

Our son has had a great experience at Westside since he started late last year. The staff has been able to help him grow and continue to improve every day. Everyone there has our sons best interest in mind and I am so thankful that they are a part of his everyday life.

Great staff and therapists they are willing to try different things to help my daughter to ease her fear my daughter has Angelmen Syndrome. She cant talk so all she does is cry when shes stressed and afraid Cayla and Elizabeth and the staff helped us to solve the problem which made me feel so relieved and I know they will keep providing us with great service now and in the future

Willow location is so amazing they go above and beyond with my son. He is making so much progress since receiving services here. I love that they explain what they do with him in his sessions and tell me what I can do at home to help him progress. I definitely recommend them.

Westside has been an essential and integral part of our childrens medical team. We have a child with auditory processing disorder and her OT was helpful in identifying and getting to the root of our concerns. We have another child with a speech delay and every single speech therapist we have encountered has always been delightful. Lastly our 3rd child has a mild form of hemiparesis and attends OT and PT weekly. We have met so many members of the team at Westside and I can attest to the care each therapist takes and the culture of Westside shines through their policies to the attention of detail at their clinics.Our children will tell you that they love Westside As their mom I will tell you they count down the days until therapy and they cry when it is time to leave their sessions.Their attention to detail during Covid has been amazing.
