Wellstar Cobb Hospital

I wish I could leave 0 stars. This is the most chaotic unprofessional organization ever. The entire ghetto. Unless it was a nurse the lack of articulation kindness appropriate behavior and conversation were disheartening. I feel bad for providers that are subjected to this ridiculous staff. Again RNs were very nice. Docs pretty ok. Everyone else an absolute hard no. Do better Wellstar. The sleeper in the photo was the rudest of them all.

Went to the emergency room and was pretty busy . The staff were very nice and friendly . The wait can be a little bit but process was pretty quick . I was admitted and was in the emergency room over night and then transfer over to short stay unit . I stayed in the short stay unit for a day and was waiting for a room upstairs in the heart unit . My nurse in the emergency room was very nice. My nurse in the short stay unit was very nice and cool . The cleaning staff are were nice and the cca i think or pca was very nice and friendly. I got my food on time . They was giving me meds and checking up on me like they should . Overall i had a great experience while being in the hospital. Thank you wellstar . Do yourself a favor save time and money by going to Urgent Care. The staff is friendly but the hospital is understaffed and they do not have enough rooms to care for patients appropriately. Wait times are 2-4 hours for simple procedures. To make matters worse patients have to wait alone because no one is allowed to come back to the waiting area.

ER was really busy I did have to wait for a while but I understand. Elizabeth Dudas PA needs to be recognized. She at least took the time to update me on how much longer it would be. During the surgery she worked very quickly and did an amazing job stitching my hand up. For how bad my injury was she made me feel a lot better about it after the surgery. She was very confident and seemed like a leader. Thanks again Elizabeth

Terrible staff... when employees tell your loved ones after asking for water that this isnt a hotel is beyond pathetic. I have already lossed my dad in this hosiptal and now my brother is in the same boat. Please do better peoples loved ones are in dire need and counting on you.

They are trying to kill my daughter. My daughter came to this hospital with septic shock. She was literally on her death bed. They didnt even give her time to heal and recover and rushed her out the hospital still swollen and on heaven pain meds and antibiotics. Not even 24 hours later Im in the ER and they saying they think its an allergic reaction so giving her Benadryl U a nurse and cant read a chart She was just discharged for septic shock its not allergies smh. Go to GRADY where people know how to read it may be a little dirty but you wont be pushed out of your death bed just so they can have the bed for someone else.

I got there Tuesday at about 450ish.. i was having a miscarriage and let them know I was bleeding heavily. I did not start bleeding and passing tissue until I got there for about TWO hours I was sitting in the waiting room actively having a miscarriage when they took my vitals I let them know I was bleeding and having a miscarriage. The girl ignored me and asked if I needed extra pants i told them I needed a dr they had me sit back in the waiting room and wait. The entire time I was miscarrying in their waiting room sitting in my own blood. Never again. If that was their care I should have stayed home and just had my miscarriage there.The nurses and staff ONCE I finally got a room were nice and very caring tammie was super sweet and was very kind. But I definitely wont be going back unless im dying. Even than might rather just die

WOW Is all I can say. My 84 year old mom was sent by ambulance after a fall in the care home she was in. Once I got in and spoke with a few of the staff they gave my mom some medication that could help her sleep some. Then my mom had to urinate BAD. She would not just go...she had to be sitting to do it. Now my mom that was given a medication that knowing she did not need to get up was trying like crazy to get out of the bed. So I ran out and asked and someone come in and help me she wants to get up and I need help Well there were 2 nurses just sitting at the station when I came out and this it the response I received we will send someone in there in a second WHAT THIS IS AN EMERGENCY ROOM. DO NOT TELL ME IN A SECOND My saving grace was a sweet nurse that was WORKING that came in to help me. Needless I was beyond furious. I have the so called nurses name and plan on making few calls. I want to give a HUGE SHOUT OUT TO THE REAL NURSE THAT HELPED ME..THANK YOU She actually helped anyone that needed it. I hate to know that someone else elderly parent with memory issues will have TO WAIT A SECOND. This is totally unacceptable They were just sitting there chatting not doing ANYTHING Just felt I needed to share to inform anyone that has an elderly parent DONT LEAVE THERE SIDE IN THAT ER

Two words to describe my experience with Wellstar Cobb Hospital would be horrible and stressful and I am just being nice with those words because there is more words I can use to describe my experience. I also want to say that several HIPPA laws were broken. My Mom had to stay here for about a week or so and during her stay we were getting second hand knowledgeinformation about her care and no one was communicating to us about her care until we actually mentioned something to the care coordinator about it only for them to still continue to contact us at the wrong numbers. The communication was horrible with the doctor the nurses and the care coordinators. No one was doing their jobs and actually listening to our concerns. She was discharged and it took her about a day to get transported and they gave us a time only for it to be a different time and we had to call them to get that information. I feel as though they rushed my Mom out of the hospital because they needed the beds for other patients and then they kind of throw you to the wolves after that. My Mom could not speak for herself and because we were not aware of anything that was happening during this time we were not able to speak up for her. The reason for my review is for me to speak up and letting you all know that my experience was horrible and I am so disgusted with them right now I could scream. This whole ordeal has been stressful to my sister and I and having to deal with this makes it all that much worse. Shame on you Wellstar Cobb Hospital My sister and I are are very disgusted and disappointed in your care for your patients and families.

Very kind and attentive staff. ER experiences are never great but all the employees I interacted with were so helpful.Update I had to take my son in after we were in a wreck and the pediatric ER team was absolutely amazing. All of his nurses especially Tala and Fe techs and his doctor were so sweet and kind to him and made everything as comfortable as possible for such a stressful time. I especially appreciate that they had a staff member Morgan whose main role is to help the children understand whats happening and help them stay calm explaining all the procedures playing his favorite music bringing him toys and holding his hand. As much as this trip sucked I could not have asked for a better team of medical professionals to take care of my baby.
