Watson Clinic - Watson Clinic Plant City

Was a new patient as practices are dropping patients that didnt take the vax. So I go here new patient noted I was double bille dfor date of service the same with labs. I called their billing and keep being told the following We bill differently as we are a private company. Thus they will split up your visit and bill you 100. If you have insurance and get an annual dont dare ask about medical issues you will get a second billing get labs second billing then they will not schedule you for anything else until you pay your bills. Sounds so super sketchy to me. They missed a serious medical condition I had and and Urgent Care provider identified it in one visit. So now I cannot get any of my regular medicine prescriptions as they will bill me close to 400 for that. What is the point of this office Profit. Period.

Patient over 10 years. Completely uncaring. Several problems over the years and had it now with recent issues. Dont return phone calls because she said there were too busy and slow to return messages in the chart. Lost paperwork I handed to their front desk staff which delayed a surgery. All about the . Patient advocate wont even return calls. If I could give lower than 1 star I would. Horrible - do NOT recommend

Ive lowered the stars by 1 each time this has happened.Dr parek is goodBut I wish they wouldve told me that a conversation about my cholesterol results would cost me and not be included as part of my yearly physical. This was 2 years ago.Edit I went recently 12022 avoided talking about much I practically didnt take any of Pareks time. I just mentioned that I was eating healthier and thats why my cholesterol went down other than that I basically didnt say anything. I ended up being charged a copay on my physical because of this. I called and it may get fixed in a week or so but theyve created a hassle for me so Ill probably just switch to a care provider closer to where I live.Ill add that its always parek who initiates these conversations not me so its kind of baiting to charge money.I was staying because Parek is pretty cool and I like the MyChart system being able to do labs in the same location as my physical but them finding anything to charge extra for is really annoying.As an aside I might suspect that they do this sort of thing on purpose to boost their pay or Watson Clinics revenue so its important to just hit them back where it hurts their pockets by taking your business elsewhere. Its the only way theyll become higher quality and hopefully stop pulling this on people.Edit 2 they issued a vitamin D test they knew wasnt covered by my insurance. Im just gunna pay it and say goodbye to Watson clinic. The service is fine you just have to make an effort to avoid the tests you didnt consent to and they dont check first with insurance for. Or avoid extended conversations about your blood results because theyll charge you for that too.To be honest its kind of far from home anyway haha. But yeah not worth it anymore.

I really needed to get in to see the doctor and I called to make an appointment for the same day. They told me I had to pay off my balance from my last visit to get in today and I ended up paying bc I really needed to see the doctor. When I finished paying and set up an appointment on the same day. I walked in and was ready to see the doctor and then they told me that I never had an appointment made and I was furious bc I made one with the lady on the phone early in the morning. So they took moneywhich i did owe and I never got to see the doctor.

Always in and out quickly very friendly and cares. Love this team.

They say their lab is open until 430 have it posted on the door but if you arrive at 419 theyll turn you away. Great for people who work until 4 and cant get there any sooner.

Never go here they wont see you if uour sick. They wont see you if you are late now after I showed up in time had labs done. They cant find labs so want to reschedule. They dont have time to call the lab or to even see the patient. This is a pattern. If you pay them out the wazoo to run labs here they are fine but dont dare use an affordable lab like labcorp or quest or they dont have time for you.

My experience with Bhumika Patel P.A. has been outstanding. She is pleasant punctual and empathetic. Not to mention super smart. Highly recommended

Dont get me wrong. I love my experience in this office. My problem is with the billing dept. For the past few years Ive been getting my wellness exams there. Unfortunately not one has been coded as such because of mentioning heartburn or something minor when asked. This year I did not mention one thing and still got billed. When I asked the billing department why they said because Lindsey sent prescriptions. I did not ask for them to be sent she asked me if I needed refills seems shady to me Not only am I now paying another copay but my insurance company got billed for a great deal more than a wellness exam just because of sending prescriptions. In hind sight Ill request scripts via Mychart from now on or better yet find another provider.
