My son has been seeing Mr. Tom for a few months now. He is always so eager to come to speech and enjoys the activities. He has made progress with his fluency and is beginning to implement the strategies that hes been taught on his own in conversations. My child also likes working with the new clinician Mr. Eric. Both SLPs are so encouraging to my son and provide so much positive praise. This is such an important thing for young kiddosOur family is glad to have found this clinic and love supporting a local small business too Thanks

I highly recommend these guys They have a fantastic office. They were so easy to work with and everyone was so nice and always to happy to see us. We had the opportunity to work with Tom since both of my twins were stuttering. He is a fantastic Speech-Language Pathologist. My twins loved all his activities games and outings. He was so good at making my boys feel comfortable and were able to get them to open up and really have fun with him they are both very shy and reserved. Tom was always so good to answer all my questions give examples to clarify and would even schedule extra phone calls to check in when we couldnt make it for an in office visit or do online session instead of in person session since we live 3 12 hours away. It was very obvious that Tom is an expert in his field and has so much experience and knowledge with stuttering. It was so neat to see my twins progress as time went on. One of my twins no longer stutters and the other one is mild now. Thank you Tom

My son is a stutterer and loves working with Tom. He has worked with him for over 15 years and has been the biggest help with his stuttering and his confidence. He gives us things to work on at home and wants to know what is going on at school and in his life. It is so helpful to go to someone who is interested in my child and really wants to help him. I would 100 percent recommend Tom for anyone. I dont know what my child would have done without going to Wasatch Speech Language.

Tom has been amazing to work with. He has worked so well with our son and our son has improved so much We have seen Tom since May 2021 and Tom has been so patient and great with our son. He has really helped him build his confidence and helped with his stutter. My son loves going and looks forward to it each time. We had the opportunity to work with Tom when my son began to stutter. I am happy to say that we no longer have concerns about stuttering. My son loved working with Tom and has asked if he can keep going to speech even after he graduated. Tom has so much experience working with fluency and is fabulous at explaining the therapy techniques that were used. Tom and his colleagues at Wasatch Speech are amazing My son wasnt doing any meaningful communicating expressive or receptive language skills at 3 12 yrs old so we took him somewhere else to be evaluated and started speech therapy. He wasnt making progress so we switched to Wasatch Speech and met with Tom weekly for a couple of years. Tom always knew how to engage my son even when son was having a difficult day and my sons speech blossomed. We found Wasatch Speech and language center through our speech therapist. The first time I took my Son age 10 to see Tom it took him 5 minutes to say My name is Tyler The patience love confidence Tom showed towards Tyler has been amazing. Tyler has enjoyed 2 speech camps where he went with other kids who also have a stutter. They do fun things together as a group lots of group outings and one on one time with therapists. We drive 2.5 hours one way to see Tom and it has been worth every bit of time and money weve spent. Tom has also been able to do many speech sessions with us via Skype which has been nice on really busy weeks. My Son has a pretty severe stutter and still does most days. But Tom has taught him to be confident in himself. He makes phone calls goes on outings orders at a restaurant anything that any other kid can do easily. Ill be forever grateful for Tom Maria and other therapists there at the clinic. They have changed my Sons life and my life forever Id recommended Wasatch Speech for any speech issues you are struggling with. They know what they are doing and work so hard to help. We were first introduced to Tom and his clinic in 2012 to address a stutter. He worked with her and her bumpy talk went away It was amazing What a significant change to her life to be cured of stuttering at a young age. To this day she still does not stutter.A few years later I contacted Tom to start therapy for our autistic son. He started doing therapy with Tom and now meets with Becca.We have had such a great experience with this clinic - the therapists and the staff. I have referred others who have also had a good experience too.

I have worked with Tom and Wasatch Speech and Language Center for over 20 years. As a stutterer myself I know how amazing speech therapy is and Tom has helped me so much Truly life changing and I would not be the person I am today without the help of Wasatch Speech and Language Center. This is a wonderful place for those with any kind of speech impediment. Anyone who has worked with any of the speech therapists there knows how much they care for you and will do anything to make you feel comfortable. I recommend this place to everyone who needs speech therapy and I know they will receive the help they need.

We started seeing Tom six and half years ago when my son was six years old and nonverbal. I was in tears and Tom reassured me that he would get him taking in few months and he did. Ive never met anyone whos so passionate about their job loves kids and rearrange his busy schedule to help my son. My son now 12 years old looks forward to his weekly visits with Tom. There are times where Tom will take him to the pet store to see snakes or they go get an ice cream as his therapy and the best part at the end of each session are the gummy worms as a reward. Tom Guristter is the BEST speech pathologists and I am so thankful to have him in my sons life to help him. Tom and Maria are amazing people that truly love what they do and I highly recommend them.
