on what works, and what doesn’t. As a small business, we are not funded by private

equity and to me that means more time educating and growing our team. For the

clients we work with, it means we put patients over profit and families over financials.

When ABA is done right, patients make growth, families get the support they need, and

business grows with the earned loyalty and support from the communities they serve.

I am so grateful to have the opportunity to serve our families and feel fortunate to be

able to mentor the next generation of ABA providers. ABA is a deeply personal form of

therapy and there are real world consequences when families are not supported or the

system fails them. I may not have all the answers but I will always do my best to be an

advocate for the families I serve and a leader for the team we have created. We have a

lot of work to do and we are excited to grow with our families by our actions.

Our clinical leads have experience with clients with SIB and other aggressive behaviors. We assess and make decisions to accept new clients on a case-by-case basis.

We serve the following counties: DuPage County, West Suburban Cook County, McHenry County, Will County, and Kane County.

We believe in providing care in the format that best serves the client. In other words, we see the benefit of both models and we utilize both in our treatments as it is recommended. Behavior therapists are fully in-person; telehealth is only adapted for BCBA services. For those families that we see a need for increased in-person BCBA support, we offer more in-person sessions; alternatively, for those that may benefit from both, we cater to that also. Most importantly, therapy is individualized, one size does NOT fit all. 

The simple answer is: whenever you’re ready. You are your child’s greatest advocate and protector. It’s okay if you don’t have all the answers, or aren’t able to perfectly explain everything. Teach and practice calming strategies with your child. Helping your child learn how to manage their emotions and reactions is very important. Teach your child different ways they can calm down and relax, such as:

• Deep breathing, counting to 10, using sensory toys (like squishy balls or putty), going for a walk, listening to music
• Build "relaxation time" into their normal routines and schedules
• Practice these when your child is happy and calm so that later, when they’re highly stressed, they can access these skills
