I love your CEUs however I am not a BCBA. I am a Licensed Behavioral Specialist and Behavioral Consultant in Applied Behavioral Analysis in my state. We can use your trainings for our required 16 hours of continuing education needed every year to maintain our license. It would be great if you had a CEU offering for attendance for those who arent BCBAs. I appreciate your free training because I am near retirement and would not be able to afford trainings otherwise. This was the worst experience I have ever had with an organization dedicated to working with children on the spectrum. My nightmare with this organization began in January of this year. My 17 year old daughter on the Spectrum was initially referred by her social worker to use Verbal Beginning after being in patient at a mental health hospital for 4 months this year. It was a very delicate and sensitive time for my daughter. As she ages it has become difficult to manage social situations and deal with mental health challenges. With that being said she was excited to start the summer program and possibly make some friends. We went through the grueling and arduous paperwork process that was absolutely ridiculous but I did it because I know she needed these supports. When summer arrived I was told it was an insurance issue as to why she couldnt start. This was a lie because when I called my insurance company they stated everything was approved already. I was then contacted back 3 weeks into the summer to be told that she would need to go to the Columbia location and not the Silver Springs location. Before I even started this process I specifically requested the Silver Springs location because it was on my way to work. While the Columbia location was closer to home the Silver Springs location was on the way to work for me. So we never attended the summer session. Then I was contacted in September to start my daughter in the Fall Social group sessions. I still trusted that this would happen but that never happened as well. Each time my daughter continued to fall deeper and deeper into depression. I wasted gas miles on my car energy and worse of all I disappointed my daughter each time I told her we are going to get started really soon. Then the icing on the cake is they are now trying to charge me 685 for assessments. When I inquired about this I was told the fees were in the handbook that I signed for. I ALSO signed for my daughter to receive services as well but that didnt happen either. I have asked this organization to remove me from further correspondences due to the anxiety stress and turmoil it causes me just to see their name. I would not recommend this organization to anyone ever

We attended the Healthy Beginnings Clinic at Verbal Beginnings for 8 weeks. Prior to completing this program my son would only eat grilled cheese chicken nuggets and quesadillas along with snacks. He would not try new foods and would not eat fruits or vegetables. After attending this program my son is willing to try new foods and he loves fruit He wants an apple and banana everyday He also loves watermelon carrots and will even eat green beans. My husband and I frequently state that this is the best money we ever spent. Ben and Ahra frequently follow up to see if anything needs to be tweaked. They truly care about the progress your child makes and celebrates the victories with you I will be forever grateful to them for my sons healthy and broad diet.

Terrible and anxious experience. Weve gone through multiple BCBAs and RBTs in two years. We waited for a BCBA and RBT for over a year and when we got one all kinds of problems started surfacing. My biggest issue was communication it was unprofessional you can wait up to two weeks to hear back from the office including the schedulers who had no idea what was happening. Sudden changes without proper communication or heads up as a parent you will be the last to hear. Im thinking of taking legal action against VB due to the lack of transparency and deceiving information that wasted a year and a half of my sons time and impacted his overall behavior and communications greatly. Dont waste your time. Imagine you contact a director to learn that they have never read your email or ignored it but when you decide to end your relationship the director finally emailed us back wishing us the best. VB is a source of anxiety and stress for parents avoid it at all costs.

They offer free monthly CEUs for BCBAs. They have been very informative an applicable to my practice working with children in ABA. I appreciate that they also provide information on trauma-informed practice.

It is very important for me the knowledge and teaching that this institution provides me as a behavior analyst it has been very enriching. Thank you very much.

CEUs are generally fantastic - however I am rarely able to attend anymore since the time was changed as they end too late. Monthly CEU webinars used to be earlier in the day so that they were well-within the limits of the business day but now dont end until 5PM EST. Please consider returning to an earlier time Even 1 hour earlier would be a helpful improvement - thank you

My son has not been a patient for a year and we are still getting bills for services for over a year ago. The communication was horrible while we were with them and there would be significant treatment changes with little to no communication to us as the parents. Please look into other options.

I have participated in several monthly trainings with Verbal Beginnings and the information has been invaluable. The presenters are very passionate about the topics they present and the trainings have been informative and quite reinforcing. Thanks for your commitment to our community families and professionals. I have nothing but positive things to say about Verbal Beginnings My son has been getting services there for many months now and hes almost like a different kid. We are a two working parent household and my husband and I are both commuters. Trying to nail down a schedule is super tough but Verbal Beginnings has been so accommodating and patient with us the entire way. The specialist and therapists are WONDERFUL and they know how to do the job well. Im so happy to have found this place. We are very happy with our experience.
