UK Healthcare - Fountain Court, Lexington

Ive had a great experience since I started treatment here about 3 years ago. My psychiatrist Dr Anderson has been phenomenal. I previously had someone who was more like a post doc and she was pretty good too but Anderson really kills it.

This facility is a waste of time and money. Their availability is low--expect to wait months for treatment--and their services arent worth it. I attended multiple appointment over six months and underwent multiple tests all for the benefit of a student. The doctor popped in few times at the end of my appointments as a mere formality and added nothing. The final straw for me was a miscommunication and rude secretary. I attended an appointment phone call to reup my medicine that they told me I needed to take regularly. Later I called in after not receiving my renewal. The rude secretary demanded I attend a second appointment before they would reup. This isnt what the student told me would happen. The secretary didnt care. After 6 months of waiting and attending appointments I had nothing to show for it. Do not waste your time or money here.

I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt. But I should have reads the reviews first. First of all I was told back in June I had to wait until November to get in but would have a diagnosis by the end of the year. I just went to my appointment this week and didnt even see the actual doctor until the last 3 minutes of my 2 hour long appointment that was completed bu a student. She literally came in and said next is your detailed assessment in about a month and left the room. I get a call back saying they cant see me until March of next year That was a total waste of money for me. Not to mention the receptionist were soo rude UK Healthcare board NEEDS to look into this office and hold leadership accountable. Next is Lex 18 andor other media outlets for me. This is absurd and NOT what UK Healthcare represents. They need to terminate Sandra Batsel-Thomas and whoever else is running that place because this is a disgusting way to run healthcare-leaving patients feeling hopeless and extremely uncomfortable.

I came to this facility in desperate need of treatment for my out of control anxiety after my previous doctor of 5 years had moved out of state. I was placed with Kyle Latimer APRN whom I found reasonably jovial and okay to talk with initially.Although I had already been given a diagnosis for which ive been treated for the last 20 years He explained that he wanted to do his own assessment. He came up with two different diagnoses one of which I disagreed with.Instead of focusing on my anxiety all this guy really wanted to do was chase the depression angle. He put me on an antidepressant that id already taken with no success in the past. I eventually told him that he was barking up the wrong tree and I had no interest in the depression diagnosis because given the life that I lead I felt it was not out of proportion anymore so than what the average person deals with.He was visibly deflated by this and afterwords didnt seem the same to me in demeanor. He said if one antidepressant didnt work then we would try another and another. He also explained from the outset that rather than treat me he intended to CURE me. I finally gave him a thorough explanation of how I felt about my treatment and why this wasnt going anywhere.I explained that I did not understand why I was being made to suffer through horrid panic attacks and the total inability to leave my house while being fed tons of antidepressants in hopes that they might someday make a difference with my crippling anxiety. This is patently absurd and I told him so He sent me a curt response with a vague excuse for why he would not give me the type of medication that my previous doctor had.This place is a complete waste of time. If you need anything stronger than an antidepressant which is all they wish to throw at you then youll be denied and probably labeled as Drug-Seeking also. Good Luck

Ive always received great care and have been a patient about a year now. I searched for many years for the right mental healthcare provider and I feel like I finally found them. Whitney has been amazing and caring and supportive all the way. Im thankful to have found this practice.

This joke of a place is unbelievable They prescribe people in recovery any and all narcotics they ask for with utmost negligence. Im in utter shock and disgust at this blatant disregard for human lives shown so freely by the staff. Shame on all of you for condoning and enabling addiction. You along with the majority of suboxone clinics in this town should be shut down. All you care about is the almighty dollar

Denisha who works the front desk is highly unprofessional and doesnt know how to schedule. She schedules me on days my therapist is out of the office Schedules my telehealth visits as in person when I have no car to get there and schedules visits I dont want without me asking this has resulted in me almost getting kicked out of this clinic multiple times and fractionary care.

I called to try to make an appointment and told them I had both United Health Care and Wellcare insurance. I was told they dont take United Health Care which is fine so then I said the Wellcare is fine to just use that they pay better anyways. I was then told that I could not do that since I had 2 insurances they couldnt just bill one. Then I asked if I could just pay out of pocket and was told I couldnt do that since I already had insurance. I shouldve just called and only mentioned the Wellcare insurance from the start I guess. I dont usually make reviews but this is absolutely ridiculous and I really think people need to be aware of the unwillingness to help people. Like what kind of establishment is this

Whenever I called today to ask about a cancelled appointment the office person was flat out RUDE and hung up on me. Ill be going somewhere else

Dr. Kindred is so compassionate about his work you can actually see it in his eyes.
