My daughter and son have been at Turtle Rock Preschool since the age of two. Both of them have received an excellent education. The classrooms are well organized and clean. The playgrounds are safe and well-supervised. The staff is well-qualified and administration is high-effective.ClassroomThey have a well-organized and high-quality classroom environment. All the materials are easy for kids to get. The types of play loud quiet or social are separated by shelves and furniture in order to build a clear boundaries.TeachersTeachers at this school are effective and beloved. They are very genuine and always listen carefully to the children and parents. Incidents between children are very low because the staff deal with them effectively.Classwork HomeworkThe amount of homework depends on each kid special requirements. They always have advices available for parent to positively evolve childrens learning process. They make the learning process full of fun. I always know what is expected and have an approach to engage my kids according to teachers advices.
Our daughter is in the infant program at Turtle Rock and we absolutely love it We toured a handful of different programs during our application process but TR was the most impressive and its easy to see why its so competitive to get in. The staff is exceptional we absolutely love Miss Sarah and Miss Maria in our daughters room and Crystal and Francesca in the front office are always so friendly and helpful. Turtle Rock has been an amazing school for our child and we absolutely love the communication about her day. Plus the photos they share with us My wife appreciated being able to sit in with our daughter as she transitioned into the new daily routine. We love it at Turtle Rock and Im confident your family will too
As a parent of two kids 8 years old and 3 years old I think Turtle Rock Preschool is the best preschool in the entire Orange County.1.FAIR informative and considerate enrollment processI see some reviewer left a 1-star review complaining his kid didnt get admitted because the schools enrollment process was competitive. While everyone is entitled to his own opinion I think the rating is unfair. I feel this is just like you left a 1-star review on an Apple product because it was more expensive than a cheaply made knockoff. We should focus on the quality. Our first kid applied twice but didnt get the chance to attend the school. Our second kid applied and eventually attended the school four years later. Not getting admitted to the program or being putting on the waitlist doesnt mean our kids are not good. It is sad some review thought in that way. To us the application process has always been transparent. The admission staff are extremely considerate and informative.2.Well-organized learning program focusing on both academics and social developmentIt is truly amazing to see how fast our kid grows at Turtle Rock Preschool in just a little more than half a year. They have so many different and fun curriculums that our kid can get the well-rounded experience. Our Kido gets to explore the new things make and play with friends and dont want to leave the school.3.Professional and patient teachers and staffOur kid is very awaring. The teachers are extremely encouraging. Our kid has been given enough time and patience and also properly challenged to play learn and grow. Without such fantastic teachers we cannot image such a progress in communication academics and sports can ever be achieved.4.Safe and diversified CampusAs far as I notice the community is well diversified and the campus is extremely safe. There are extremely strict procedures implemented at the school to ensure kids safety. We toured and applied most of the private schools in Orange County. In regards to earlier childhood education we think Turtle Rock Preschool is SECOND TO NONE.
Update I can see someone left review pointing at me and other parent for being not fair on comments right after the score went under 4.And you can see there wasnt any review for 5years and suddenly numerous reviews just popped up for this school. I can defiantly see how they much want to keep the review score. What a coincidence Ha.First of all it is not that my kid didnt get accepted. We just decided to stop the process on our side after having a lot of research and all those process. We didnt get the best impression from the director nor school teachers. That was why we decided not to send our kid. You can leave any reviews here but there is a website you can see true review and I have read some bad experience with this school. Also the reviewer said the best preschool in OC What a strong statement haha. Did you experience all the preschools in Oc I dont think so and I am pretty sure there is better schools also all kids are different. You cant say this specific school is the best for every kids.We felt that this school wasnt for our family.I know you disagree with some bad reviews but everyone is different okprevious review-They have extremely complicated enrollment process for preschool and kinder. You have to go through multiple test to get in. They interview parents then you have to attend playgroup thing- which they test if your kid can fit in for 3hrs so they can select good behaved ones. We decided not to send our kido to this school because we didnt want to test our kid if he is good enough also didnt like the idea of shool being so selective even for this age. I am not sure how much diverse they respect when they pick kids.Preschool kids are too young and they can be what they want to be. They are still exploring.
I cant think or even imagine a better place than Turtle Rock Preschool for my children to learn grow and be cared for in their earliest formative years Our kids both started in the Nursery Program which is so much more than just daycare with one kid now in Junior Pre-K. At Turtle Rock Preschool every day every week and every month is thoughtfully planned out with enriching curriculum for every classroom at the school and programming that allows our kids exposure to music art dance nature and so much more. Staff is abundantly serious about the work they do and the responsibility they have to the children and families of Turtle Rock Preschool. Even more the Staff the teachers and the families who are a part of Turtle Rock Preschool embrace and celebrate diversity and inclusion and take extra care in ensuring that every kid regardless of family make-up race religion etc. feels a part of the Turtle Rock Preschool community. This is a special place beyond worthy of caring for and teaching our children.

Leadership at this preschool is very questionable. The director frens seems non-exist during parent - teacher disagreement. When I dont agree with how my 3...
Our son has had an amazing experience at TRP. Best choice we have made in the last three years. My son has received excellent education probably the best among the ones he has attended from some very experienced teachers such as Miss Arlene and made some great friends. Based on what ive observed from his friends i think TRP did a great job recruiting some real great kids - i am reassured he is getting good influence from kids he plays with. Sending our second boy there too and we are so happy we get the opportunity to attend this school.
Our three months experiences with this preschool was a tragedy. Our boy is a sweet smiley kid but received the teacher negative feedback everyday consistently no single positive feedback ever. Every blame was so true is all about my kid shortage the strength to hold a pen is too weak not able to follow instructions not wash his hands every time after wiping his running nose etc One of the greatest tragedies that can befall a 3 year old child with development delays is to be surrounded by adults who think it is a tragedy. Photos videos all show my boy is so behind others left alone when doing yoga shaking chair when eating violates the rules when playing and made publicly. The teachers director founders mum made it obvious for me by words emails conversations that it is a tragedy to have my kid around.
I very rarely leave reviews but our family has had such a positive experience at Turtle Rock Preschool over the past 4 years that I felt compelled to in case it helps any families trying to make this decision. My daughter started when she was 2.5 in Room 4 and this summer just graduated from their private Kindergarten. This is my sons second year there. They have very different temperaments but both have loved it here. My husband and I both work outside the home and needed a full time program with extended hours. I did my research and toured several local Montessori schools and reputable preschool programs in our area. I was looking for a place that was safe well kept with compassionate teachers and a semi-structured curriculumschedule that fostered social and emotional growth and academic growth. TRP was my number one choice and has hit all the marks over the years even through Covid and exceeded our expectations. The admissions process is a bit grueling tuition is not cheap but Crystal in the admissions office and every one in the front office have been so wonderful and really make our family feel special and part of a strong community. The families at TRP are like minded involved parents who enjoy volunteering and attending their well planned events and celebrations. We only wish they would extend to an elementary school so we could stay longer
We would like to thank Maajed and his mother Patricia both owners and leaders at Turtle Rock Preschool. We had our children attend TRP for the past few years and are very pleased with their overall care education and systemized approach in teaching developing and introducing the foundations of early learning to our kids. The school is also very fun and exciting for not only the kids but also for us parents with all of their events that are carefully put together. Maajed has done a very nice job in selecting each team member of TRP and we continue to tell others about the above so that all parents could take advantage of their program. We highly recommend TRP.Thank you Maajed for taking such an awesome care of our children.
The reason for one star is the way TPS handled COVID situations. Their management decided to shutdown the pre-school and seized everyones security deposit...
Turtle Rock Preschool has been an amazing school for our family This is our 4th year at the school and now have both kids going and they both love it. They both want to stay longer when I come to pick them up and that says alot. The teachers and staff are professional compassionate and very friendly The environment is very positive with a perfect balance of fun and learning. I know my kids are safe and well taken care of when I drop them off. I highly recommend this school

Most children go to daycare before they enter preschool at age 3 or 4. Most children stop daycare at the age of 6 when they go to school. Children who are homeschooled might continue daycare programs. Kids diagnosed with autism or other developmental disabilities might be in both daycare and therapy programs longer. Special needs programs and centers help children up to 26 years old.
One of the best things you can do is to have a conversation with the daycare staff. Share details about your child’s autism diagnosis, strengths, and challenges.
