Founding Story

My name is Julia Marvil. I am an occupational therapist (OT), certified lactation counselor (CLC), pediatric feeding specialist, and owner of TOTs Therapy. I began my career in Atlanta, GA as an occupational therapist specializing in tethered oral tissues (tongue ties and lip ties), developmental disorders, early intervention, sensory integration, and feeding disorders and have worked in a variety of settings including pediatric home health/early intervention, outpatient tongue tie centers, and outpatient OT & speech therapy practices. My career has focused on helping caregivers successfully engage with their children. I have a distinct passion for looking at the whole picture around feeding difficulties and pediatric development as well as educating families to make sure they feel supported throughout their parenting journeys. Throughout my experience across practice settings and locations, I've seen how difficult it can be to find practitioners that look at the whole picture when it comes to pediatric feeding and tongue tie therapy. My goal is to provide a holistic approach to therapy in order to improve age appropriate feeding skills.
