Kathryn Allen has been nothing short of amazing to me. When I first decided to seek help again I was cautious because I hadnt had the best experiences with therapy in the past. But Kathryn is attentive warm and empathetic. She listens to me intently and gives me plenty of room to express my life concerns she offers me a multitude of productive perspectives encourages me to shift my mindset and provides me with exercises tailored to my specific challenges. I feel seen heard validated but most importantly helped. She really is exactly what I need in a therapist and Im extremely lucky to have found her through Thriveworks.

Reviews of companies are asked for to early and readily in my opinion.Ive only had one visit with a therapist so far. I dont think its fair to share such a limited experience to others. Or at this point be asked to.However if you really want my opinion so far everything is just average. The customer service representatives Ive talked to have been nice enough with the first one being the nicest. The pricing is fair up against the cost for other in person or virtual therapiestherapists so nothing stands out in this way either. I do like the fact that Thriveworks helps you find a therapist to meet your needs so a person doesnt have to do all of the research and numerous first visits on their own until they find a good match. Still Im tired of signing up registering for and downloading apps to accessuse online services. Thats not anything against this particular company just a pet peeve of mine. I dont want to learn a new dashboard or interact with a virtual bot. Old fashioned as it is nowadays I prefer talking to real live people.Hopefully Thriveworks will reach out to me again in 3-6 months when Ive had time to really utilize their services and get to know my therapist and can give a more in-depth and thorough review.

Its a scam. I was not told how much the bill would be. From their website they make you believe it will be anywhere from 99-160. They charged 395 for my first basic intake therapy appointment billed as some sort of diagnostic appointment. I wasnt diagnosed with anything I did not show interest in diagnosis and my therapist did not mention a diagnosis at all. I contacted them via email and the billing office assured me it was 395 for a single session. I paid a 25 copay and they billed my insurance which paid half leaving me with a bill of 161. Half of my bill was more than most normal therapy offices charge for one session without insurance. Its absolutely disgusting when services that are supposed to help you with stress and anxiety just cause more of it and take advantage of you financially. Absolutely do not recommend.

BEWARE There were so many red flags from the start I could slap myself for not taking heed. The insurance verification process is a joke they said...

I couldnt ask for a better experience.I didnt care for Zoom meetings because I wanted to have eye to eye with my counselor. I could not afford 100 a session for that.I was crushed and heartbroken and wanted someone who believed that there is a Heaven and that my husband is whole again-no more pain or suffering and that we will meet againMs. Keene is just the person I needed. Thriveworks matched me up perfectly when I told the intake receptionist my story and they got me on Zoom in four days. Couldnt beat thatAs for the intake staff there a 10As for Ms. Keene Brown she is off the charts - kind and caring she asked the right questions to move me along in the grieving process we are able to make good eye contact on Zoom like we were in the same room and I look forward to each session with herKeep up the great job Thriveworks staff and Ms. Jeene.DB Vanover

I searched for a year to find mental health it was either canceled at the last minute or they didnt take insurance at all or not taking new patients.I found Thriveworks by EMT recommendation .Yall Im so happy with my sessions right from the start.Being able to do this from home or not on zoom is perfect for me so easy .

Id be weary about scheduling through thriveworks. Over the phone I was told that my insurance was in network but I received a 200 bill after my first visit. I called to remedy it and was told that my insurance doesnt cover mental health visits.I knew it did so I called my provider to confirm and it does include mental health coverage. I had to call thriveworks again to explain I did have insurance and they called my provider to confirm. Im not sure why or how this slipped through the cracks but Ive gone ahead and cancelled all future sessions. Seems very shady to tell someone they are covered and then that theyre not AFTER their visit. Not to mention they had all the resources to view my information correctly and waited until I found the error. For someone seeking mental health care this has only added to my stress.

Catherine Roberts has helped me deal with a lot during the past couple of months. She shows compassion speaks reasonable and keeps my heart warm. I will continue to work with her and she has my respect and gratitude.

Rachael Kates helped me in the past when I struggled with anxiety and self-doubt. They gave me advice on what to do in the event of an attack and it helped me calm down quickly and was easy to remember for future situations where I might need quick help. Im very thankful for their encouraging words and help with feeling less insecure about my abilities and work as well. If I was in the area Id seek them out for further counseling.

My therapist Line is so wonderful She has been so supportive during a very hard time for me both personally and professionally. She is the best combination of knowledge compassion and thoughtfulness I cant thank her enough for everything that she is doing for me
