Therapeutic Learning Consultants, Inc. (TLC) ’s early intensive behavioral intervention program consists of intensive, family-centered, evidence-based, and person-centered therapeutic services. TLC’s approach to early intervention is naturalistic, using everyday family routines to foster the generalization of skills and to promote independence for the client and the caregivers from the start. TLC’s early intervention services focus on increasing each client’s motivation to learn, ensuring that each session is engaging and functional. TLC uses empirically supported methods when tailoring each program to fit each client’s unique needs and family. 

TLC’s focus is on superior personalized care and service delivery. Each treatment approach is individualized to the client and their family. Clinicians at TLC are trained in the behavior-analytic principles of behavior change and learning, focusing on positive reinforcement strategies. More specifically, clinicians are trained to use any or all of the following empirically supported interventions and methodologies in isolation or combination to best suit the client: differential reinforcement, shaping, task-analyzed procedures, discrete trial training/teaching (DTT), pivotal response training (PRT), Verbal Behavior, and natural environment teaching (NET).
