Beaming Review

The Wesley Place is helpful to everyone who comes. Mr. Wesley teaches us how to do math and count money he also teaches us communication skills and how to conduct and control our behavior. He works with all levels of special needs. He also is working on building a assistant living place for his place to expand and grow. Through the years I have grown up and have learn how to socialize with my peers on a day to day basis. Please read this review and give The Wesley Place a chance to help and shape your mind.

I have been bringing my son to the The Wesley Place for drop-in care since March 2013. Whenever we arrive my son is excited to be there and the staff are always enthusiastic in their welcoming of him as well. The founder of this facility knows from personal experience the difficulties of working your job when you have a special needs teen and they really try to be available and open even when the schools arent. The staff and volunteers here really have a calling for what they do and I have no worries when I leave my kiddo in their care. May God continue to bless Mr. Wesley .

WARNING DO NOT USE THIS PLACEDO NOT TAKE your special needs child to this place especially if they are a minor. I first contacted the owner to set up a walkthrough in late April of 2017 my child wasnt to start until June 2 2017. the building was under renovations in April. The owner advised all repairs would be complete by the time the summer program started in June He also advise he would have a camera system installed in the daycare by June as well As having adequate staff. NONE of these things were done and I had already paid the deposit to hold her spot into the center. This place is nothing but a money grab they dont even offer a food service program. There is not enough staff 1 guy is a family member there is also a lady in the kitchen as staff even though she is a client. The owner does not keep his word and is full of empty promises. No cameras inadequate staff. unsafe environment for minors no food service program will stick your child in a small office space with a table and a few chairs No technology when I say no technology NON no tablets no computers not even a TV for the clients. He did not have credit card machine or cash register I was told they accept cash only in 2017 which is highly questionable no curriculum as far as what they teach and the owner feels pressured if you ask to many questions. Bottom line the mom shouldve closed this place down when she retired the son will ruin her image and reputation. JUST KEEP LOOKING THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR ANYONE PERIOD. the only reason I gave 1 star is because I cant give no stars
