Although I loved working with and getting to know all of the brilliant students, my time with this company was an incredibly disappointing experience. The environment was hectic and toxic, making it a very unstable and unstructured environment for both the clients and the employees. Employees and students were poorly treated, and it was common for employees to leave clients unattended. There has also been occurrences of employees calling African American children monkeys, which was extremely unfriendly and discriminatory. The workplace was catty and blatantly racist, and I was personally treated differently due to the color of my skin. After putting in ny 2 week notice I was suspended and after leaving, the company withheld my last paycheck. When calling to make inquiries on my pay I was told by Alison (the director) “I am sorry you feel that way” and hung up on. It has been almost 30 days since my last day and I have still not been paid. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

This happens. The results of the school’s evaluation may be different than your child’s medical diagnosis. It’s also important to remember that school is NOT the final say on your child’s potential. They may offer very little support to your child, underestimate their abilities, or disagree with you on what support your child needs. You will probably need to advocate for the services and support you believe your child needs.
