About The Seaver Autism Center for Research and Treatment

The Seaver Autism Center for Research and Treatment at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai leads progressive research studies and provides personalized care to individuals with autism and related rare disorders associated with autism. Working together with families, the Seaver Autism Center takes a genetics first approach to identify the causes of autism and advance effective treatments. Our Center is comprised of experts in five core areas of expertise: epidemiology, pre-clinical and clinical research, drug discovery and development, and administration. The diverse, multidisciplinary staff works closely together to translate discoveries in basic scientific research from the laboratory to our participants and the community.
