The Ecumenical Center - First Baptist Church of San Antonio

We visited last Sunday and were totally blessed by the song service then Pastor Chris Johnsons message on Better Together concluding with praise in how good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity Ps 1331 and finally witnessing 15 Baptisms. It was home away from home Apparently we were at the traditional service and across the street was the contemporary service which no doubt was a blessing too

We went for the Christmas concert. This year the concert included the San Antonio Orchestra. What a treat Music was awesome. Everyone was friendly and there was plenty of seating. Unfortunately they requested no photos so I have none to add. Put it on your calendar for a family activity next year.

Thank you for a great morning. We were attending a conference in San Antonio and found this church online. Service was packed. Music wonderful and some people were very friendly. That Sunday there was an outdoor baptism service which was a blessing to witness. Would go again if we lived there.

I joined 1st Baptist Church the first time I went to visit. I felt right at home. When covid hit our State lI started watching 1st. Baptist on TV. The people are so friendly makes you feel good. Pastor Chris and the music with the Orchestra will put joy in your life. We all need Jesus in our lifes in this difficult times.

FBCSA has a great atmosphere and the services are excellent. The orchestra is always a great addition to the worship with immense artistic value. The family programs provide great opportunities for families to utilize and worship as a family. Pastor Chris always has a great message and does a great job incorporating kids into the sermon. Highly recommend everyone to check it out.

First Baptist Church of San Antonio is truly a house of God. It not only is beautiful inside and out but the feeling of Gods presence is there the moment you walk in the door.

My wife I watched your church service today 932023 as is our custom. You put a light green banner at the bottom of the screen with white lettering - we could hardly read it some we could not read at all. Is a place where you want to spend time with God family and friends. Groups for all ages. Counseling day care womans bible study prayer line youth groups transitional and contemporary services.Services on English Spanish and International. Burmese.Choir and Band group.

Beautiful people and wonderful church. It was a bit confusing on where to go for which sermon. I was looking for the contemporary service and the greeters went out of their way to point me in the right direction. The contemporary service was great. If I lived in the area it would for sure be a church I would attend.

My parents were married here so Ive got lots of memories here. Large lively church very friendly people. You can dress up or go casual it wont matter. Great childrens program as well as lots of adult programs to get involved in. Not the kind of church that you feel lost in because its so big. Right in the heart of downtown so its convenient from most parts of town by car or bus. Also on channel 12 ABC if you want to check it out first.

Ive been going here for about a year and they are the best church family. Ive met my closest friends and Pastor Chris is great
