About The Arts of Life, Inc. - Glenview

Arts of Life is a 501(c)3 non-profit founded in January 2000 with a shared vision: to create a working, person-centric, artistic community while providing a work environment of equality in Chicago. Motivated by founding artist Veronica Cuculich along with two co-directors Arts of Life brought nine other individuals with developmental disabilities to create the organization we are today. Our shared vision grew from a passion for artistic expression and a need for an alternative system.

Currently taking care of a client that works here and all he does is complain that they wont pay him until next year. It would be nice if you showed a chart of how program participants get paid. So the people that take care of them can explain to them what is going on and help guide them through uncertain moments. Food for thought .Also very lazy with communicating when they close the facility. I mean they have a website you would think they would pay someone to put a simple calendar on it so they could have a centralized network to communicate when they close and why. But they dont.To your reply my client has started working for your program since I believe November. He has not received any sort of payment. He keeps telling me that he will be paid in February. So if that is the case he has gone several months without payment. That being said he has missed days. But thats partly due to the fact that he is upset that he has not received any money for going. So take this information and do what you will with it. No I dont want to be added to another redundant call list. This isnt the 90s we have the internet. Its a simple couple lines of code to write on your website to add a closure and event tab. Just saying.
