The Arc of Weld County

The AWC is an advocacy organization focused on protecting the rights of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Serving primarily Weld County, The AWC also provides support services to six northeastern counties including Morgan, Logan, Sedgwick, Phillips, Washington, and Yuma. The AWC provides three forms of advocacy services: no-fee individual advocacy services, community outreach programs such as events, education, training, and systems (legislative) advocacy. These advocacy programs have been developed to safeguard the rights of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, facilitate choice, and promote independence and inclusion in community life.
