Reposting because The Arc wants to take my posts down lol. Anyone thinking of working here or to receive services I suggest you look elsewhere. The Arc of Washington County does an excellent job at wearing a mask until you fall for itbecoming employed by them or receiving services then you realize how ugly and unprofessional they really are. Do yourself a favor Look at the other services in the area and do your research. Save your time energy and moneyresources. This place is no where near worth it.

-5Do not work here. Management is a click that not only ignores concerns from employees but punishes those who do

I worked here for about 8 months and I really did love my job my clients and the people I worked next to in the house.. the only downside of this job was some of the people they would hire wouldnt do anything besides sit around andor they wouldnt even show up for their shift and if they couldnt find someone to cover me after already working 8-12hrs that 8-12hr shift would turn into an 18hr shift..

Mentally handicapped management managing mentally handicapped employees making a poor attempt to support mentally handicapped individuals. This place is a sickness.

Just found out my brother who was a resident of one of their houses spoke up here. I dont feel the need to restate what he so aptly put but I have to type something to leave my honest rating. Id give it a 0 if I could. The people in the care of the arc deserve so much more. Each individual is so smart and gifted from what Ive seen.

Stay with the ARC of Washington County they said You will learn to be independent they said The ARC was many things Except for honest Learn to be independent my a. The staff there are too rude and lazy for their own good. To be perfectly honest with you guys Im no sellout. Especially not for the ARC of Washington County. Its c. If I ever NEEDED to seek a new group home for anyone and The ARC of Washington County was the ONLY place left in the world for anyone I would rather leave that person homeless. They give no care are extremely ignorant AND they never seem to take the initiative when it comes to ANYTHING Take my advice if you or a loved one is seeking an assisted living setting in a group home dont even go there. The ARC of Washington county is wrong for your child.

This is a great organization with well meaning and dedicated staff performing an important service for the community. Like any organization there is always room for improvement and the organization is focused on moving forward.

Passed background checks and the like overqualified if anything and was turned away based on thc in my system in a state that decriminalized it. To lose good workers because of personal bias towards lifestyles is fooling arc.

Would not send a dog to this place. The people in HR lie to people. People with training are been turned down for jobs they are qualified to do. That can and have passed background checks. People who have worked with the handicap before.
