Rude and inconsiderate in human resource.. Some big black lady. Told me that I was possibly expose to COVID and prevented me from coming into work for 3 weeks only to call me in to sign termination papers for missing work. Its a good thing I already felt a new job before this evening happened but I found it incredibly inconsiderate.

I recently got custody of my niece who is 5 and she has a sensory disorder falling under the autism spectrum I applied online as I was referred by a wonderful respectful sweet woman from 211 I received an email from the Director of outreach asking what Im applying for I explained to him my situation and also let him know that I am unaware of how the program works Ive only had my niece for a few months so dealing with this is hard bc its so new to me. This Director had no passion at all and was rude in every email I eventually stopped replying because if this is the type of customer service the ARC has I want no parts of it families are dealing with enough the least you can have is some compassion and explain respectfully when someone is obviously telling you they dont know and are new to this disability. Completely unprofessional

My family and I have never been so disappointed in Mary stempler in the outreach Dept. And overseerOf the Adopt a Family program..We were denied the right to apply this year due us not turning in photos on time. What an unfair decision Try telling something like this to the autistic children in the family

This old evil Nasty lady Name Mary stempler who handles the holiday is rude and very unprofessional and about to be sued for discrimination against a autistic child she took his pictures and threw them in trash because they got the pictures late who does that who take away their Xmas and tell the family they gonna purposely make sure they get denied and when I went to talk to management he said he was busy so he gonna take her word over mine SMH this place need to hire new people who love their job and love children with disabilities i tell you one thing blessings dont come to no one who takes from children happiness

I had the pleasure of speaking with Mary Stembler who was the woman in charge. She got me set up with everything I needed to do to be adopted for Christmas since we lost my husband and my daughters father She gave me so much information on things they do and what they could help with She is an amazing woman and we are blessed to have her in our corner helping us thru a most difficult time There are no words I could say that shows just what she meant to us and what she has done for us Thank you Mary The Arc and the company who adopted us for this unbelievable blessing We are forever grateful

I applied for a job here and was successful. At first the classes they have you attend seems boring and a lot of work but youre surprised how useful they are. Only been here a month and I enjoy it.

I am always gratefully overwhelmed when The Arc of Baltimore assist me and my family. When I go there everyone speaks and are polite. They are courteous and very resourceful.F.Y.I....Please do some research before calling places like The Arc of Baltimore. Some may think they have been treated poorly when you may have spoken to a person with a certain disability....whom they employed. Its not to take away from your perspective or personal experience but its possible to confuse sheer honesty with unprofessionaism.

Outstanding organization that helps individuals with developmental issues. I remember growing up and seeing them find work for people with Downs Syndrome....

I went to the preemployment process and was not told at the interview that I would half to take a reading and math test . That upset me because I missed about 4 points on the test and the lady tells me I half to come back next week to retake it. I have no problem with taking a test just inform your future workers at the time of the interview. Then they have you fill out all of this paper work before taking the test I think the test should be distributed first
