When our first child was diagnosed with hearing loss and developmental delay at the age of one the pandemic prevented us from receiving support from family members leaving us feeling overwhelmed and anxious. However we were fortunate to have found Sarina. Her weekly one-hour treatments have been super helpful and our son now two years old has shown significant improvement in both his speech and cognitive abilities. Sarinas approach to treatment is engaging and fun and our son never displays frustration or resistance during their sessions. We are truly grateful for Sarinas support and guidance and through the process we have learned valuable skills in enhancing our bond with our son through play interaction and encouragement.

I am very grateful that I decided to join the Airplane Spoon family From the moment I started working with them they made me feel like a part of their family. Nina and her entire team have been absolutely amazing and have had a profound impact on my daughters life. When my daughter was diagnosed with a 1 perceptive and expressive language I was really worried about her future. But with the help of Nina Gina and Amrin she has made great strides in her speech development.One of the main reasons I chose Airplane Spoon was because they offer therapy in Spanish. My daughter is growing up in a bilingual environment and I wanted her to have as much exposure to the Spanish language as possible. Nina and Gina have been instrumental in helping my daughter improve her Spanish skills while also supporting her in other areas like sensory and emotional health.The relationship between Nina Gina Amrin my daughter and myself is more than just a therapist-client dynamic. They are kind creative perceptive caring and empathetic and I feel extremely blessed to have them in our lives. They have helped my daughters speech development in a compassionate and holistic way and for that I am forever grateful.

Sarina was the only speech therapist who truly understood our childs needs and tried to listen to what he says. Weve been working with Gina and the Airplane Spoon team for a little over 4 months to help my son with his speech development. Gina is always friendly and patient and knows how to build rapport with my son without pushing him too hard. She is really great at creating a fun learning environment that would encourage my son to stay engaged and not get frustrated during the sessions. Weve been trying to get our son to sign more and with Ginas help and guidance he recently learned to sign a word all on his own which was really exciting for us to see. Since working with Gina weve also seen improvement in his receptive language and hes grown more fond of reading. One of Ginas biggest strengths as a SLP is astutely observing and picking up on areas of improvement and coming up with an effective strategy to address them. Gina is also very responsive to emails and always promptly and kindly answers all our questions outside of our regular sessions. As parents we really appreciate Ginas empathetic thoughtful and creative approach and its exciting to see our son make small but significant strides in his language development.

Ms Nina was the first speech therapist who made the effort to understand and communicate with my child with complex medical needs. Therefore as soon as we found out about The Airplane Spoon we wasted no time in getting him enrolled for private Speech and AAC services at the center. Subsequently my other son was also deemed eligible for servicesand he has made substantial progress in remarkably less time due to Speech Feeding and Social-interaction therapies at The Airplane Spoon. We highly recommend The Airplane Spoon as we have discovered in Ms Nina not only a very experienced and intuitive therapist but also a reliable advocate for our kids and family

We worked with Sarina to improve our daughters feeding skills. We found Sarina to be extremely knowledgeable as well as a great communicator.
