Considering the reviews and the stories of peoples experiences with appointments and bad service I can absolutely confirm that it is exactly as described. And dont bother calling the practice managers for complaints it doesnt get taken care of.

Completely disappointed. I have been taking my son for two years now and never had an issue until today when my son was actually sick and needed medical attention. We were late for our appointment because of the rain and traffic i guess there was an accident. We called ahead to let them know. When we arrived to the place they refused to see our son because we were 20 min lates. They did not even bother in taking his temperature. Told us to go to urgent care. When we made it to urgent care our son had a fever of 105. He could have had a seizure with that fever so high. He ended having strep throat and needed antibiotics So disappointed because my son was actually sick and needed care and when we needed it the most they refused service and did not took my son life seriously. Never again.

Doctors are fine weve been seeing Dr. Anna Chen since my son was born. But if you want to schedule a sick visit it is impossible. Appointments are always fully booked and they tell you they can only schedule for the same day or tomorrow if no luck they cannot schedule you any days later. No matter what the situation is you are suggested to go to urgent care if you try to call them the wait time is also ridiculous.Thinking of finding a new practice.

I have been seen there by Dr. Anna Chen for 1112 yrs. And today 110122 I had my 13 yrs old well visit appt at 850 am. Due to rain and traffic jams school zone traffic due to heavy rain I was running late even though I left home on time. I called the office and told them I am running late due to rain and traffic the lady on the call told me you have 15 min grace time I told her I am here at fry rd and seems like it will take more time well I reached inside the office at 911 am and she went in and checked with Dr. Chen I guess and told me sorry she cant take your daughter there are already 3 patients a head so reschedule the appointment. I requested that I come from far Dr sees my 4 children here and I have never been late my daughter missed school please consider and make a space for her shes like no maam I am sorry. It showed that they dont have any regard for their old patients plus the factors due to which I arrived late there and there was not a rush in the office as well at that moment. But they were rude and showed less concern for all my pains. I am very disappointed with todays experience in my entire 11 years of experience and I am thinking of 100 changing the Dr I used to like Dr Chen .And when I was leaving she was laughing and kept saying have a good day that seemed to make fun of me. How come I would have a great day after that bad moment

Appointment was for 945. Arrived at 945 mind you I had to wait in line to get checked in .Once at the window staff member proceeded to tell me that I was late and usually they dont take late patients. She checked me in at 850 but said she would allow me to see the doctor but she was telling me for future references. Like she was doing me a favor girl please my child is sick. The doctor really did nothing to find the cause of my child issue. Back to Cinco ranch location I go where Im not a burden to the workers

I called to make an appointment for my daughter a sick visit. The woman that answered me Mary was so incredibly rude. I let her know that my daughter had been a patient at the Heights clinic and right away she told me that she had absolutely no openings and that I had to take her back to the Heights clinic because they were not her pcp. I tried to explain to her that my daughter had just gotten back on insurance and she had been assigned Dr. Wong as her pcp. She proceeded to get loud and talk over me telling me the same thing they werent her pcp. I told her that I was LOOKING AT THE INSURANCE CARD and it said PCP LINDA WONG and I asked her what that meant if not that she was her pcp and she answered in the most condescending tone I dont know. But that doesnt necessarily mean she is her PCP. Im sorry what She put me on hold Im assuming to check her system and saw that I was correct because when she came back she wasnt speaking loudly at me and told me she would ask the doctor if she would see my daughter. But not an apology no acknowledgment of the fact that she was so rude for no reason. Im not trying to inconvenience anybody Im making an appointment for my SICK CHILD. She told me she would get back to me and I am still waiting for a call 4 hours later. I have no words to express the disappointment at the attitude of some people towards parents trying to get their children help...

I cant thank you all enough for the special excellent care you have provided to my son and for the unique gift you are to him. I thank God for the experience of doctors therapists nutrition team volunteers pharmacist staff facility dog Angus caring critter dogs and staff at Texas Children Hospital. Your compassionate kindness caring and patient focus exceeded my expectations and confidence in your ability to heal my son. Thank you again for the great care and surgery you performed on my child and for bringing a smile to our face when we were feeling worried. The medical services provided to my son were exceptional.Nursing team Mea thank you again for taking amazing care of my son during his stay and for helping us through this hard time and for taking care of us in time of need and for making us feel at home throughout the whole process. My daughter sees Dr. Schultz and we love her. Very laid back and honest. And also very responsive on the portal when you ask questions. She is great Recommend her.

Its difficult to talk to anyone on the phone because the wait times are long. Online website is great specially my chart. I think the doctors are wonderful too. When your child is sick I dont understand why they cant schedule or squeeze you in even like a day or so later. My child probably has an Ear infection. The earliest appointment I could get is 4 days later which I did schedule online myself. I later called to see if they had anything earlier or if I could be on standby. I was told to go to urgent care instead. I will probably switch doctors soon. Whats the point of having a pediatrician if you cant even see them when your child is not feeling well

Ive been getting my check ups here for years now Im 17 now and Ive had the same doctor Dr. Shah and its always a great experience. Starting with the nurse that sees me first and usually gives me my needed shots they are always painless her technique is flawless. I always feel super comfortable with Dr. Shah and she always keeps a great conversation. I never have to wait long to be seen. All in all every time I come to Texas Childrens Pediatrics it is always awesome and really efficient.
