Introduction
I am a speech-language pathologist serving the Bedford County are. I have been working with adults and pediatrics for about 4 years. I love working with both populations. I have experience with adults with aphasia, dysphagia, and TBI. In pediatrics, I have experience with early language, autism, Down syndrome, feeding, speech sounds, and AAC. I strive to build a safe space for my patients to meet their goals. I individualize each plan of care to best fit each patient’s need.
What words would you use to describe yourself?
Passionate
Caring
Inquisitive
As a Speech-Language Pathologist, I am passionate about empowering individuals to find their voice and communicate with confidence. Each client’s progress—whether a child saying their first clear word or an adult regaining language after a stroke—fuels my dedication to this field. I am caring in the way I build trusting, supportive relationships with clients and families, recognizing that communication is deeply personal. My inquisitive nature drives me to continually learn, problem-solve, and tailor evidence-based strategies to meet each individual’s unique strengths and needs.
Who are you best positioned to serve?
As a speech-language pathologist, I am passionate about serving both adults and children across a range of communication and swallowing needs. I best serve adults with aphasia and dysphagia, providing individualized, functional therapy that supports communication, cognitive-linguistic recovery, and safe swallowing. I also work closely with pediatric clients, including children with autism, Down syndrome, AAC needs, feeding challenges, and early language delays. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and family-centered, empowering clients and caregivers with practical strategies that foster confidence, independence, and meaningful progress in everyday life.
