Hi! I'm Sybella Romero, a Pediatric Speech Therapy Assistant, based in San Luis Obispo County. I've had the pleasure of being Supervised by SLP, Sonia Hiller, since 2024 and am grateful to be a part of her team! Although my scope of work is wide I take a special interest in gestalt language learners, AAC implementation and providing education to individuals who Stutter. I enjoy tailoring sessions to those who benefit from accessing movement during session while acknowledging total communication and working toward our therapy goals.

Coaching has always been a part of my background and being personable while supporting each client’s individual needs keeps my families feeling comfortable and heard while we work toward a mutual goal to support your child. I enjoy being my most animated self, bringing the same energy and creativity to each of my sessions. After a long day of school, I understand that attention can be limited and patience is most important for a successful session. Progress takes time and consistency keeps us on track!

I serve children with speech sound disorders, including fluency disorders (such as stuttering), expressive and receptive language disorders, social communication disorders, and supporting caregivers and gestalt language learners though natural language acquisition.
