I started volunteering at Sweetwater when I was 12. The residents are very happy and all the staff worked really hard to create a nice community. I noticed the residents become more engaged in my time there and it was super cool to see them so happy. It is an amazing organization

I remember when Sweetwater Spectrum was just a vision many years ago and seeing what it has become is amazing. I have been there many times and have met staff and the residents and have seen the positive impact it has made. I am happy to hear they have expanded as housing opportunities are hard to come by for people with disabilities and this location is simply spectacular. I have referred friends with children who are on the spectrum there and will continue to do so.

Sweetwater is a marvelous placea treasure to the community in general as well as to the residents who live there. It is a rare combination of an outstanding physical facility carefully designed for the comfort of autistic adults that has highly competitive administration and staff who are knowledgeable hard working empathetic and compassionate. It has become a model for other facilities around the country trying to help positively solve the problem of a severe lack of places for autistic adults.

Great place and staff. Sweetwater its founders and leadership has done more for disability services that most will ever be able to do. What they built is rare amazing and worth supporting. The tours are informative and gives so much hope to others who wish to one day be given the opportunity to partake in a similar setting for our children.

My nephew has been a resident of Sweetwater since it opened its doors in 2013. Living there has been transformational for him. It has allowed him to live and flourish in a warm nurturing community. The families all work together both with regards to each house their are four residents per house and as part of a broader community to support each other and work together to make the best possible environment for the residents. Olivia the executive director is amazing and cares deeply about each resident. She is unbelievably responsive and capable. It has truly been a blessing for my nephew to live in such an incredible environment.

Sweetwater Spectrum is an incredible Supportive Living Residential Community for Adults with Autism. Our son has been there for 11 years and it is a joy to watch him and his house-mates thrive living there creating long-term relationships and enjoying the wide range of enrichment activities offered. The Sweetwater Spectrum team is fantastic. We also appreciate the great support from the service providers that each family themselves select to be the care staff for their resident.

Sweetwater is an amazing place to live - both physically and emotionally. The facilities are top notch the staff is incredibly supportive and helpful there are lots of stimulating purposeful activities for the residents and they even have an organic garden that residents help tend to. My friends child has blossomed since living there. She feels connected to the Sweetwater community as well as the surrounding community through SW programs. I wholeheartedly recommend Sweetwater to anyone with an autistic adult child looking for a loving environment.

Our adult autistic daughter has lived at Sweetwater Spectrum for over eight years now. What we have seen and experienced there has been nothing but the very best of care concern and inclusion. It is an amazing facility with many enrichment activities offered for the residents. and excellent experienced caregivers. They also Involve the residents in local community activities and employment as well as other day programs. We cannot say enough positive things about this wonderful community. We are so grateful that our daughter is there and thriving in a least restrictive supportive environment.

I am surprised about all the negative reviews clearly posted by people who never have been to Sweetwater. I have been a volunteer for Sweetwater for the last 4.5 years doing art with the residents. I love working with the residents and Sweetwaters staff care deeply for those entrusted to them.Overall it is a very caring community. They do a lot of great awareness spreading about autism in the local community. The Sweetwater property is really beautiful.
