Introduction

I am a speech-language pathologist with over 15 years of experience supporting infants through adults across a wide range of communication needs. I specialize in early language development, language processing, AAC and speech-generating devices, autism, literacy, and functional communication in real-life settings. My approach is strengths-based and functionally centered, grounded in a rehabilitative and counseling-informed framework. I believe individuals do not need to earn access to life or community—they need tools, modeling, and opportunity. Through collaborative, team-based care across settings, my goal is to unlock the potential of every voice and mind.

What words would you use to describe yourself?

Rehabilitative
Adaptive
Reflective
I chose these words because they reflect how I approach both clinical practice and professional growth. A rehabilitative foundation guides my focus on strengthening underlying communication skills to support long-term function and independence. Being adaptive allows me to think flexibly, adjust strategies, and individualize therapy based on each client’s unique profile and needs. I am reflective in my practice, continually evaluating outcomes, integrating new research, and using counseling-informed principles to better understand and support the individuals and families I serve. Together, these values guide thoughtful, effective, and client-centered care.

Who are you best positioned to serve?

I am best positioned to serve infants through young adults with a wide range of communication needs, including speech and language disorders, language processing differences, learning differences, AAC and speech-generating device users, cognition, fluency, and social communication development. I approach therapy with an open mind and a broad scope, valuing curiosity and continued learning so opportunities are never limited by rigid categories. Using a rehabilitative, adaptive, and functionally centered approach, I focus on providing access, tools, modeling, and opportunity so individuals can meaningfully participate in everyday life and their communities.
