SUPER Helped my daughter to read She was diagnosed with Dyslexia Dysgraphia and Auditory Processing Disorder. Today she is an avid I should say voracious reader and a successful business ownerI was so impressed by the Vision of helping students with learning disabilities that both of my children graduated from SUPER My son didnt have a learning disability but the Christian atmosphere intimate class sizes and the innovative use and acceptance of multiple learning styles helped him to succeed. Both of my children graduated at the top of their class went on to earn college degrees and are successful adults.

Staff not equipped to handle all range of autistic children. If children arent acting proper way they call parents to send them home. The staff is not all on the same page on how to handle children on spectrum. Made situation uncomfortable for my child to not want to go to this school. The effort put to get staff on same page youre better off at a public school or other options. What made things worse was my child tried to say bye to office staff but all I heard was a chuckle from them. Steer clear from this school.

SUPER Learning Center was an answer to prayers. I have two sons that graduated from SUPER . One on the autism spectrum the other with a learning disability. I am indebted to the staff who lovingly poured into them and gave them each what they needed individually to succeed. Two complete different experiences but each child got just what was needed.

Please be careful when deciding to join this school or not. My close family member was kicked out with no warning and no alternatives to providing the help that his autism scholarship was supposed to be providing. With weeks left in the school year he was completely caught off guard and told he couldnt return and if he didnt finish all his assignments online he would have to pay in full for the school. I should add that he was kicked out for having a meltdown because the teachers were not following his iep. I am completely disgusted with this school and the people who run it. Its so obviously for profit and not for helping children. My best advice for you if youre thinking about joining this school is to have an iep advocate ready to help you. Youll need it.

My experience with this school makes me sick to my stomach to this day. My child had attended here for two years with zero issues. It was wrapping up towards the end of the year and my child had to participate for the first time in state testing which clearly is already a very nervous and difficult time for all of the kids.My child specifically had in his IEP that testing of that sort to be completed alone only with support staff. SUPER did not follow his IEP which ultimately led to meltdowns. Moving forward the following weeks there were times my child was getting triggered which led to meltdowns. For example the teacher did not allow him his sensory fidgets during working time which sometimes were needed to help focus and actually be able to complete things etc. I believe it was all bias from the struggles that had occurred previously because in fact they encouraged the kids to use fidgets as much as needed.Fast forward again the administration and I set a meeting so we could sit down and try to figure out a planadjust with what had been occurring to help my child continue to succeed at their school.Never once did they lead on to what truly disgusting act they had planned. Day of the meeting comes you can imagine how caught off guard I was when they told me they were not allowing my child to finish his year there in person as well as not allowed to come back for the next school year and said if he did not finish online I would have to pay the remaining tuition from his autism scholarship or try to transfer somewhere else but added in they dont think anyone would take a transfer scholarship this late in the year. They did not want to work together to come up with a plan didnt truly want to help my child. They had already made up their minds before I even got to the school to meet with them they had all of my childs belongings already packed in a printer paper box ready to give to me absolutely cruel behavior on their part. My child never even got to say goodbye to his close friends he had made over the years. A complete and utter shock and heartbreak for my family from this school. After that I reached out to the board of special education and talked to multiple different people had phone meetings explaining everything that had occurred at SUPER learning center. Unfortunately there was no type of justice I could get for my child even with how wrong they went about it all because it is a non-charted school. Please take this review as well as other similar reviews as a precaution.

My son started at Super halfway through kindergarten. He was nonverbal and would bite holes through his shirt with anxiety. Once he started at Super within one week he stopped chewing My son is a senior this year and has thrived because of his time here The one thing I love the most about this school is how much care the staff has for the kids. They will put them first and help them feel accepted My son loves it here and has gained skills I never thought possible I 100 times recommend this school for children on the spectrum. Smaller classes wonderful staff accommodations an entire sensory department and so much more makes this school amazing

Wonderful school. Richard Cole is a wonderful person with a huge heart. He grew up in Lakemore and went to that school when it was Lakemore elementary. It was so sad to see it close he turned it into a special needs school.
