I am a private duty who worked with many of residents here.it is a great safe place home away from home for many of our love ones. Memory care on 6th floor has a dynamic staffing full of people who actually care. Sunrise I love it here.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Sunrise on Connecticut Avenue. The exceptional care warmth professionalism kindness and integrity - consistently across the board - is priceless. My mother has been a resident for 3 years and her experience has been exceptional in every way. The icing on the cake is the sheer physical aesthetic beauty of Sunrise. But it is the extreme kindness and care which is the greatest gift to residents and to their families. Thank you to everyone at Sunrise

I cant tell you how incredibly happy we have been to have my father at Sunrise. All of the staff are super attentive warm engaging and helpful. They go above and beyond to make sure he is comfortable and well cared for. I didnt know what to expect before arriving but have been so pleased with the complete care Sunrise provides. The staff are respectful and accommodating. I would recommend Sunrise to anyone who wants to find a friendly compassionate place for their loved one. Sunrise on Connecticut is a premier assisted-living facility conveniently located in NW Washington DC. Beth the Executive Director and her staff are friendly helpful and professional. The staff really care about the residents. They have ample space for activities and beautiful dining area with great food. They have Powerback therapy PTOT and SLP on site so you andor your love ones remain active and age in place. I highly recommend this facility.

I want to express my sincere appreciation to everyone who helped me take my dad to the eye doctor on March 30.I initially contacted Charles. He was very patient and knowledgeable and explained how things would work. Jeanette always cheerful and helpful arranged a driver and transport for us. The young man who drove the van was exceptionally kind and competent. Thank goodness he knew exactly where we were goingDoris was her bright efficient self as she helped my father prepare for the outing. And Abbe the nurse helped me get the required paperwork. Abbe is wonderful with my dad and so capable and gentle when she changes his dressing.Christabel was the aide who accompanied us. She did a great job and was very caring and flexible. At first she was not allowed to come into the exam room and then she was allowed and then she had to leave. She never lost her cool and was a great help to me.It all went like clockwork It was very arduous for my dad and we found out that he has great vision and only needs readers so it was worth it.My sister Linda who lives close to Sunrise usually takes my father to his appointment. This was my first experience working with your amazing staff and I am very impressed.Thank you so much for hiring such caring compassionate people.

I have several family members at Sunrise on Conn and have experiences with both the independent living and memory care components. I have to say that it has been a really really good experience for all-- even with their very different needs...Mom did not want to leave her house and now she couldnt be happier. When I need something I ask and I always get someone ready to help. The staff is loving and communicative. There is a much more vibrant socialactivities life and my life with my parents has changed in such a positive way

The entire process of placing my mother in this lovely community was stress-free. Staff is warm welcoming and professional. I am happy that she has found a comfortable home where she is safe and well taken care of by such a caring group of people.

My mother is a current resident at Sunrise Connecticut Ave and we couldnt be happier. The facilities are lovely and activities are stimulating and varied as well as geared to different levels of ability. Upon entering the building you are struck by a sense of serenity and immediately forget that this is the middle of bustling DC.But the most outstanding aspect of this place is the amazing staff. All of the staff nursing physical and occupational therapy care givers housekeeping and maintenance dining room activities and administrative are kind friendly extremely capable highly professional respectful patient flexible and most of all caring and clearly happy and proud of their work. This is so rare in an industry infamous for its unpleasant and unfriendly staff. Mom says often that the staff really takes great care of her certainly a first for us after experiencing other DC area facilities.We are very pleased to have found this placeClaire McCardell

The cuisine is excellent the activities profuse and varied and their medical facilities unexcelled for this type of facility. The administration and staff are friendly helpful and professional. We are very comfortable here.

Beautiful facility with very caring professional care managers. My 92 year old father has enjoyed the community the activities and the dining room experience for over 7 years and I have peace of mind. I highly recommend Sunrise on Connecticut Ave.
