I am new to the Y this season. The building and equipment are good. The group exercise programs are diverse and many. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly.

Great place to swim laps.. Mid to late mornings are pretty much wide open. I enjoy jumping in the giant hot tub and relaxing in sauna after words.

Great complex but its really frustrating that they have basketball courts that are more prioritized to daycare and workout classes. We pay for a membership but when I come to the gym to train my children its a hit or miss if we can have access to the basketball courts. I understand the capatilism aspect of it because they make money off of daycare but its not fair to paying members who want to use the basketball courts.

25 dollars a day is such a rip off I could not believe how this place is trying to rob you blind. I am visiting if out of state and I am appalled My community gym in my town is only 5 for a day pass and is bigger with way more amenities. I thought YMCAs were supposed to be for communities to help people stay or get fit. Clearly they are just a money making scheme that only cares about the wealthy who can afford to workout. If you are from out of town and traveling the Onelife Fitness is 25 a week and 100 worth it

I should mention that I relocated back to Newnan before returning to this institution. The woman who handled my intake welcomed me I just wanted to mention that. She got it fired up. But I do want to thank Paula Robinson for taking the time to describe each equipment for my exercise requirements. I appreciate that you offer a wellness program and hire personnel who are familiar with your tools.Thank You

At first I felt pretty welcomed as I was taught about being able to grab a token for a locker. Each Y I have went to never told me that it was included in my membership as I chanced placing my belongings in there with hopes no one touches it. I decided for the first time to get out of bed and do as my doctor requested which was start working out. I wanted to try a Step Class which I later found out was Step 2. As soon as I walked in it just felt weird. The instructor was going about her business with the ones she was familiar with not even taking the time to introduce herself the class and the equipment needed. I decided to just grab what everyone else was grabbing and tried to ask an older woman if the mats were necessary and she acted as if I scared her. Answered me as she seemed to be running away from me. I didnt pay that no mind so I decided to go to the back of the class to exercise and automatically felt lefted out as the instructor started to yell out moves without me knowing and not even attempt to do some sort of modification. Like she enjoyed yelling out all the moves and everyone dances and steps all around me as Im left clueless. I decided to then just step what I am familiar with but she didnt seem as if she even cared that I was stuck. After trying not to allow any of that bother me I said I will not feel like a complete fool no longer and decided to walk out. Im use to being at an Y that are actually compassionate when it comes to their members and their needs. I never felt as unwelcomed as I felt in this class. I will now drive to Buckhead 45 mins or Atlanta 35 mins before I go back to the Y that is 6 minutes up the street from me.
