They put my 96 year old mother there because she had dementia and was getting aggressive. We had to go to court to get her out. Scam all around. When we finally got her out she had bruises on her arms back and chest. Horrible place right out of the Middle Ages. 12years later and Im still horrified by the experience. Dont go near there ever.

Scam. Big pharma jail for the vulnerable. No rights no humanity no civility. Dangerous. Government needs to shut this place down. 1 doctor to 100 patients doctor is a strong word.

Do NOT let your people go here My step daughter was taken to another hospital emergency room yesterday because she was wayyyy over medicated This place is HORRIBLE She has big bruises from falling and even more that I cant discuss here She was sooo doped up that she almost had to be placed in ICU. She was placed on the cardiac unit instead because of her heart rate being so high She couldnt even talk

Right now i am giving this rating based on the fact that my daughter was overmedicated with too many anti-psychotico medications. She shakes and her mouth is moving uncontrollably. Yes she was angry. Yes she was out of control. Yes she went off her meds . The only good thing that came out of this is my daughter has no intentions of going off her meds. They gave her back to us in worse shape than what she was. Her eyes are slanted down. She has no confidence.Should of been given a sedative and slowly given her invega. Shame on you Doctor Haddad. I am sending this to our attorney and letting blue cross know what this place did to my daughter. Allowing other male patients to kiss her while she was sedated. Shame on you and your hospital. My daughter has a boyfriend and she is quite conservative. You destroyed her life even more.

Its not a great place I wouldnt send my dog there you get no help. As far as mental health facility it is by far one of the worst. They tell you one thing in there. Descriptions and how things are supposed to be. No visitation back in the day. Used to be able to go up on the floor and visit.. No communication with doctors or social workers at all. You get people on the floor that answer the phone through which I am assuming is nursing staff and they hang up on you totally rude Filing a complaint.

If I could give this place a 0 I would. Awful staff awful doctors specially Dr Lulay Haddad who push unnecessary medication. Why does anyone need 8mg of any benzodiazepine a day An abilify and a risprodal injection And the unit was too loud so all patients were administered booty juice to make them go to sleep for 10 hours The doctors are shoving meds down my loved ones throat claiming hes manic when he clearly is not. Bad place. If you care about yourself or your people do not go here.

My brother was admitted as a patient here two years ago and stayed for a little under two weeks. There was no therapy or trying to help those suffering from depression and suicidal thoughts. All they did was park the patients in front of the TV.

Some doctors quick diagnose within 1 week and medicate and release others hold you for a month and dont talk to you often. You are a prisoner and will be treated like a child.It is loud 247 and antisocial patients are grouped with asocial. Patients walk around like zombies showing no emotion and confiding in each other that they feel unheard and forced to comply with everything. The food is hospital food good nutrition. Some nurses breath down your neck those nurses are the compassionate ones who really want to study you others sit and talk to each other ignoring complaints mostly because theyve given up on trying to help because of strict enforcement of policy no personal property allowed outside of books. No psychodynamic therapyGroup therapy is just paperwork and lasts 30 minutes. No talk therapy. They push Medicare on you because you will go broke paying for all of it without it even with decent insurance. They refuse to listen to or report patients about abuse in personal life. They advertise psychotherapy but employ not a single clinical psychologist. No individual therapy. This is a prison you will not find any therapy or help. Even if you are the nicest person stay out of trouble and show interest into others personal experience they will diagnose you with something you wont leave without a diagnosis even though they didnt talk to you about anything otherwise it would have been proven a waste to hold you so long if they cant make something up they dont get money right A social worker told a group look nobody cares or believes men the police wont listen the courts wont listen the doctors wont even if you have proof that you are the victim of a false claim. keep your head down and just go with the flow or youll end up right back here. Insinuating that you must allow lies invalidation and abuse to be done to you or you will face punishment. Some people slept all day long every day and refused to socialize and were labeled as difficult and uncooperative the guy is slurring his words and can barely walk because hes over medicated he cant even stay awake. a patient said this is torture I cant even listen to music or play games someone kill me already they threw him in solitary for the rest of the night so they could monitor him on camera really Thats how you treat a depressive episode due to lack of autonomy By taking more rights away Stay away from here all youll get are bills and pills. They dont care about you they just care about money well not the nurses the nurses do what theyre told but they will confide in you that they want to help but cant.

This place is a prison. The food is awful they never let you outside and the therapy is a joke - just sitting in a group and doing worksheets or activities that would be more appropriate for middle schoolers not adults. The dayroom is tiny with uncomfortable furniture and 90 of the time theres nothing to do but sit in there and watch TV or pace the halls.Theres constant noise even at night the slamming doors and nurses loudly talking at all hours make it nearly impossible to get adequate sleep. They make you wear a bracelet that tracks you and if youre not in the proper position like laying down on it in a weird way it wont work and theyll yell at you while youre sleeping to move so they can confirm youre alive or whatever.The people that work here are rude. They scream at you like youre stupid. Its almost impossible to talk to your social worker. Also I had been laying in bed a lot because I was extremely depressed and the staff would come up to my door during room checks and talk about me saying things like what a waste - even the housekeeper joined in on it once talking as though I wasnt in the room and saying she wished she could lay in bed all day. If they say things like this right in front of you imagine what they say behind your back.Your entire autonomy is robbed from you here. They gave me an injection of Abilify that I did not consent to but had to take in order to get out. It gave me horrible side effects. And they forced me to go to another mental health center after being here for 3 weeks because they didnt think I was ready to go home.Avoid this place at all costs.

I hate this hospitalplease read everything.The psychiatrists and social workers think that its funny to tell the patients and the patients families lies. I hope they shut this hospital down and everybody who works here goes to jail or in a psychiatric facility themselves. They dont even give the patients time outside this is not help its jail.How do these people have the right to judge when an individual is ready to go back in the real world A college degree So youre telling me that 12 years in school gives you the knowledge to prescribe mind altering drugs to people These doctors have never even been around the patients long enough to know how the patient acts normally.Nobody here is professional everybody is ghetto and just wants to use these patients to make money. Every single last person that works in this facility has an empty soul just a puppet for the doctors and psychologists.They keep people here longer than what they should nobody in this facility does what they tell you theyll do. Most of the front desk people and nurses who answer the phone is rude and disrespectful. The ONLY person who I genuinely felt cared was Stephenie and another woman who I think said her name was JT or something like that.I want somebody from this facility to talk to me face to face so I can tell them how I really feel because I cant say what I really want to say on google.Let me guess I need to be admitted too huh If it was up to these people everyone has a mental illness.

I saw a doctor every day even Saturday and Sunday. Staff listened to my concerns and really helped me out of a bad place. Its definitely a no frills place...

My son has been here twice in the adolescent unit. My sister has also been here I believe 3 times. The staff and psychiatrists are wonderful and listen to...
