My daughter was transferred to their PICU due to RSV. The entire staff down to the security guards were so kind They made sure our daughter was well taken care of along with my husband and I They take care of children and parents with such care and compassion I hate hospitals but Childrens made our stay so nice. They include you in everything and dont keep you wondering whats going on. 1010 They saved my baby

For being a childrens hospital the front desk staff are all extremely rude. Most of the nurses are great. Some of these doctors seem to not really want to learn and help a child with special circumstances or just dont listen to concerns or ideas to help improve. Some even keep kids on high doses of medication without proof of things going on.

Nurse Jason in the ER was rude from the moment he walked in the room. He didnt speak or introduce himself while my 5 year had just waited 4 and a half hours to be seen. So since he didnt speak I decided to talk to him first and asked how his day was. He said its been interesting hows yours I said its good other than waiting over 4 hours. He then says yep all to just get discharged right away with an attitude. He then says they have to take blood after still not even speaking to my 5 year old daughter who is now terrified because he has a needle out. He missed her vain didnt even tell us he missed proceeded to try and draw blood for 10 mins and then tells us he will have to do it again. We then said we dont want to put her through the pain again. Instead of talking it through with us or being understanding he gave us a thumbs up with an annoyed look on his face.

So my 9 month old is in the hospital right now and it was good at first. We were on the 7th everyone was so nice on that floor. Then my baby had to have surgery so we got moved to the 10th floor and these people just seem to not know what they are doing or dont care. And dont even get me started on the room on 10th floor rooms are very tiny and they make you share with another person

Although I heard great things until recently I had personally not had an experience of my own here. As it is a child hospital my hopes are u never need to find out how great the staff here are. A few weeks ago we thought our teenage son fell Ill and everyone but myself thinking he had covid and not sure what it was myself we took him to the local ER and found out it was cancer. He was airlifted within an hr and we have been in this hospital since then. We have meet some very great staff members who give their all to care for the kids here. I hope my opinion remains unchanged and that when we finally leave we are cancer free and my son is able to post his own review. Have to remove a star as apparently theres at least two workers that have issues with an adult sibling staying in support of their family in our case both sick sibling and worried parents.

Where is the compassion and humility in the modern day nurse A nurse swabbed my sons nose during an ER visit recently and he immediately responded with screaming and excruciating pain. She didnt respond at all however. I waited about 30-40 seconds for her to comfort him ask him a question about why he was uncharacteristically out bursting...nothing When I asked her what had happened she defensively responded what you dont want me to send the sample to labs Huh keep A.I. out of the ER Siri has no business caring for children. Parents need to see caring and emotionally developed nurses when they bring their children in to the hospital

Let me start off with the medical side of our visit has been great nurses drs. Now for social workers and counter staff another story. Mind you while we were getting ready to leave and nothing was said about not being able to come back in. Nothing like taking one of your sons to something to get them out of hospital while your other son is there then cant come in and your wife has to drive 4 hours home in the middle of the night. Talk about caring for patient and family. He stayed last night no problem

My son had an eye care appointment here at the childrens hospital and I was amazed with the atmosphere of this place. Very kid-friendly and colorful. I can see why people bring their children from greater distances to this hospital. The Doctors were so great with making my son feel comfortable with the eye exams that they performed. Including putting eye drops in to dialate his pupils All staff members and Doctors were very helpful and professional
