Salomi has been phenomenal in helping our son who is on the autism spectrum. His reading comprehension summarizing and conversation skills have improved a lot after working with Salomi for a year. She has a personal touch and is really kind supportive and positive. This made a huge difference for our son and he continued to thrive with her help and support. I would highly recommended Salomi as a speech therapist to anyone looking for one for their child. We have worked with many therapists over the years but shes hands down one of the best we have ever had. Salomi is the best

Salomi has been a fantastic speech therapist for the last two years with both of my children on articulation stuttering and social communication. Salomi first impressed me with how quickly she tuned in on what goals each of them needed to work on and building rapport -- each session was so fun warm and engaging. And she is not only great in working with the kids but also in communicating with me and with my sons teachers and OT helping us to coordinate our work. We just had our last session with her last week and it was bittersweet Im so grateful for all my son has learned and he is proud but he has also cried a couple of times about having to say goodbye to Salomi. She is simply the best

Salomi is a great speech therapist. She helped my 4-year-old daughter for about 5 months and her speech improved drastically and is now quite stable. During the therapy Salomi also taught me and my husband several useful tools to use at home which makes us more confident in helping my daughter in our daily life. Salomi was such a pleasure to work with and hands down we would recommend her to anyone else looking for a speech therapist for their child. Honestly we were a little weary of starting virtual speech therapy for our 4 year old son and didnt think anyone would be able to keep his attention or work with him via Zoom as he didnt have any experience with online classes before. Much to our surprise Salomi quickly won over my sons heart and had very creative ways of capturing his attention and getting him to participate in various activities and games to help work on his speech. Our son looked forward to his sessions with Salomi and within 6-8 weeks we saw a noticeable improvement in his speech. Salomi was very patient with him and had ways of getting him to cooperate even when he didnt want to initially. In addition to working with our son part of Salomis program focused on training us on how to help our sons speech development. This turned out to be a critical part of the speech therapy process and we learned a lot from the sessions.We are grateful we found her and so thankful for everything she has taught both us and our son

We highly recommend Salomi When our three year old son developed a severe stutter during the pandemic after his little sister arrived Salomi was the only doctor we talked to who took the time before booking an appointment to really understand the situation to ensure that therapy was the best course of action. When it was clear that it was we worked with Salomi via teletherapy over the course of a few months during which time our sons stutter was greatly reduced and we as parents had the tools confidence and reassurance we needed to handle the situation.Shes so fun on Zoom that talk to Salomi became a favorite activity for our son and he asked to call her nearly everyday and have a playground meet up Thank you Salomi

Salomi is THE best Our 5 year old boy has lisp and after 2 months of weeklybiweekly sessions with Salomi his speech has improved drastically.What we love about working with Salomi1 shes super friendly and fantastic with kids - our son always has a great time with Salomi. Weve talked to quite a few other speech therapists and few had that positive and upbeat attitude Salomi has.2 shes very communicative - maybe its the nature of her profession but she sets clear expectations for the child and the parents and let us know the progress weekly if not after each session.3 shes super resourceful and goes above and beyond - Salomi provides us with worksheets games online resources that we could use on a daily basis. Speech therapy takes time and practice and her support outside of her sessions makes it so much easier and more manageable for us parents.4 she provides virtual interactive sessions due to COVID-19 Salomi has been offering zoom sessions which works super well as she always uses interactive programs to make it fun and engaging for the child.All in all we are beyond grateful for Salomi for her help to improve our sons speech so quickly. We cannot recommend her more

Salomi is a great speech therapist. Working with our son over the school year Salomi showed great patience empathy humor and a rah-rah spirit to help him over the hurdles. I wouldnt hesitate to use her again if we need the help and I would highly recommend her to parents who see their child needs speech therapy.

My son started speech therapy around eighteen months after he started to lose words and verbal language. This was my first child and being told there was concern with his lack of verbal speech development was scary. After doing some research and with some confirming recommendations I immediately felt at ease going to work with Salomi.She was fantastic always welcoming us with a smile and excitement to play with my son. He enjoyed speech therapy and looked forward to his appointments. Salomi was able to make her sessions fun and productive always looking for ways to cater to his likes while addressing his needs. Salomi was able to guide him in practicing sounds words phrases and finally sentences. She helped him gain the confidence he needed and gave me tools to help support his progress at home. Now he is three years old speaking confidently in clear full sentences. I cant say enough how thankful I am for her help. I highly recommend Salomi Dafferty.
