My son has been coming here for 9 years he is now 19. He is in the autistic spectrum Dr. Ellis and Dr. Meyers have been instrumental in his success. Bioneuro feedback does work It has helped his compulsions behavior and his focus is amazingly on point. So far weve been following them at their locations and their deliverable is solid even so that I am now a patient there. This is a good practice with good results. I have seen my ADHD calm down Im focused and relaxed. Give them a visit everyone from the front desk staff is exceptionally very nice Highly recommended

Weve known Dr sense 2004. Our son was diagnosed with Aspergers. Through the QEEG mapping Dr. Ellis found a previous brain injury. caused by an old concussion. The change in protocol made a significant difference in our sons treatment plan and prognosis. When Dr. Ellis coupled his treatment in spectrum counseling and Neurofeedback our sons brain began to heal. We noticed his ability to process was more fluid his sensory overload improved reasoning and consequence observations improved and most of all his social interactions become more relaxed. One last thing regarding improvement showed up in his ability to receive constructive feedback. We also had been through the legal system with our son which was quite painful. Dr. Elliss expertise in spectrum issues and the legal system made a huge difference in our sons legal outcome. We are grateful for his knowledge and genuine care in helping our sons life move forward. I am thankful to report hes doing well. Hes holding a job where hes working with the public which any parent who has a child on the spectrum knows this is a huge accomplishmentThe type of Neuroherapy Spectrum Psychological Services and Neurofeedback offers can be life-changing.As a parent we also took diet very seriously. With the financial investment we were making we also used food to help as we continued with his treatment plan.

To be honest this so called Dr Ellis is a complete flake He should not be licensed to help or attempt to help people. In my opinion he is not qualified in dealing with minors with any type of mental health issues. I took my child there is hopes of some help my child in no way received anything in ways to deal with and or overcome some of their issues. I would not recommend becoming or have your child become a patient of his. BUT...The office admin Amy is completely amazing.

This has to be the worse psychiatric office in Virginia Beach. Not only is it difficult to schedule the office itself stinks The staff as a whole is disgustingly rude and your front deskoffice manager needs to be fired.Dr... excuse me Nurse Praticioner Lee S Phillips is the most incompetent entitled provider I have ever has the displeasure of meeting. Do yourself a favor grab your medical records I guarantee the notes wont be complete and RUN Such a poor excuse for a psychiatric office. You can tell the owners no longer care for the building. The therapist arent much better and I can see theres no diversity. The office will be closing soon and good riddance

why in the world would you prescribe a child prozac put no refills on it then discharge her. giving me no reason why she was discharged now she is on meds that have no refills this is a very unprofessional place. why were we discharged with no refills on her meds is that how you treat a ten year old with mental health issues you need to fire that b i am filing a complaint on your organization

Found this deceiving provider Lee for med management through my previous insurance a few years ago. After a few visits come to find out she is the same person a family member has seen for 15 yrs. Things went well for a long time. Not sure what may have happened in her own personal life however taking it out on your mental health patients isnt a very courteous gesture. This provider cancelled many appts refused to change medications that were creating horrible side effects and has now completely avoided my mental health and I all together. Left without medication that ive been taking for years sunk deeper into the worst mental state and doesnt even have common decency to return my phone calls or emails. If you dont desire to help people in need..change youre god damn career. I pray this doesnt happen to anyone else because of her. Absolutely ridiculous. Thanks for destroying everything Ive worked so hard to regain. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS WOMAN FOR ANYONE EVER.

Stay as far away as possible Run as fast as you can. They dont value your time. And when confronted they discharge you. Completely unethical. You wonder why we have a problem with our mental health system. Well right there is an example. If you dont want to be valued and then when you stand up for yourself yout told this isnt going to work. Then the owner Dr. Ellis then came in the room and asked me what the issue was and when I explained it again I was told I was unreasonable and he left the room. I was left standing there.Wow what a way to treat trauma individuals.

If I could give this place specifically Dr. Ellis zero stars I would. I sold everything last year I could in order to pay him 2500 to testify on my sons behalf in a custody case. Once the judge decided last minute to not allow him as an expert witness because he had apparently collected no data during our visits he kept every single dime. I hope you sleep better at night stealing money from single disabled mothers.

Saw a therapist here once. She spent most of the session telling me about her life. They never billed my insurance. Called and they said they would file. Got a late bill. Called again. Said they would resubmit. Next received a nasty gram saying Im going to collections. Just made my 4th unreturned phone call to resolve issue.
