Spectrum on Ice

Spectrum on Ice is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness, promoting acceptance, and providing opportunities on and off the ice for athletes with a spectrum of abilities. We teach children and young adults with ASD and other developmental disabilities to skate and play hockey. We are unique in that we welcome siblings and peers to join us weekly, as well. We understand that to create a world where acceptance of diversity and different thinking are the norm, we must bring children of all abilities together so they may go out and foster awareness, understanding, and acceptance. Together, these children will grow up and make the world a better place! We offer monthly Family Skates because we understand the importance of bringing families together on and off the ice. The changes that we have seen in our athletes on the ice and the skills that are generalized off ice are truly special. Everyone looks forward to Friday night and our Family Skates!
