Spectrum Center - Peninsula Campus

I absolutely LOVE my sons education and care. The staff is both transparent and accessible. With our sons autism we found it much easier to keep him close to us at all times. We know what triggers him what his replacement words are what calms him. He was very closed off at being around new people. We had so much anxiety days leading up to his first day but the assessment team was so supportive. After the struggles of the first week with separation anxiety both sides he began to understand the routine that eventually turned into him being excited to go to school. Hes found so many new words - including addressing staff and classmates by their names... this might sound small but HUGE for us as a family. Seeing him using his mobility skills being more social and finding new words gives us so much joy. We cant thank the staff enough. He loves going to school every morning and a large part of that is the staff. We cant thank the staff enough. If any of you see this review - please know what youve given our son is stability and comfort in a safe place to learn and grow. What youve given me and my husband is peace of mind that hes in good hands when hes not with us.
