Our athletes are great they practice hard and compete together. If one loses heshe routes for the others to win. The camaraderie in these teams of special athletes warms the heart to watch. I encourage everyone to come out and watch one practice or competition just to see the drive each athlete has. Join us be a volunteer.

My name is Jillian Chute I am 41 and have cerebral palsy and learning disability. I moved to Georgia in 2013 from Florida I participated in special Olympics in Texas 1996-2000 and Florida 2001-2013 and when I was living in Florida participating in special Olympics and working. I moved in 2013 Im not working or participating in special Olympics. I want more then anything is to participate in special Olympics as an athlete again. I live in assisted living in banks county Georgia. I want something to do. I moved to Georgia to help my parents take care of my grandfather until he passes away. And now my parents are in Florida and Im here in Georgia with my brother 30 minutes away. Ive called and left messages to special Olympics Liz Smith a few times and no response back. And Ive wrote the same letter to the governor. I dont know what else to do. Could you please help me. From Jillian Chute

If you plan on working here reconsider. They dont take anytime to train you or build relationships. Turn over rate is super high because of poor leadership. Its a bunch of people who have worked there for eternity so they are set in their ways even if they are inefficient. Literally they fire everyone they hire within 3 months or less and dont provide any reasoning. I personally think its so that they dont have to cover your insurance cuz they offer that after 90 days of employment... but no one gets to 90 days LOL Its a pretty comical situation to put yourself in if you dont really need the job tho- makes for good stories. I figured I would post this just incase anyone is considering working for them - go ahead and doge that bullet

The referee needs to eject anyone who use profanity to the goalie and ejection for pushing elbowing a opponent.
