South Miami Hospital

This was my first time getting a Mammogram and although I was very nervous my Tech Nadine made sure to explain the steps and was very gentle. The entire process from checking-in to the driver giving me a lift to the garage was quick efficient and courteous. Excellent job South Miami Hospital

Do not be fooled by any good reviews of this hospital. This might be the worst place in Miami. Thank GOD I only spent 1 day there and had my friend pick me up as I checked myself out. The nurses never gave me the medicines I used at home. I got 1 dose of medicine 4 hours late after calling it in over and over again. By that time my BP had spiked. Got home and took my Medicines on time and the right pills and got better right away. My room door was left open constantly and barely got any sleep. I was taken there by their Urgent Care Facility own ambulance . The nurse kills half the day just sitting down since I could hear the voices down the hall since the door was always open and the rooms have cameras so why not answer the medicines on time Avoid anything that has the Baptist name on it. I wanted to go to the Hospital in Kendall but they only use their own facilities to make money. Now I know where never to go again. The building is pretty but the room nurse does nothing.

I went to the Imaging Center for an MRI.I have a pacemaker so a whole wonderful team were involved in making sure that I had a successful MRI experience stress free.All of the staff were so patientkind professional and caring.They all took the time to explain to me along the way the process which helped me feel comfortable.I thank my group of Angels.Thank you all for from my heart for a wonderful experience.

disgusting waited more then an hour in the room with my one year old baby girl they treated and assisted patients that arrived after before seeing my daughter all they did was take vitals twice 3 hours in total waisted in that place after the nurses saw me get up and leave thats when they wanted to assist. I told them I was leaving and to make sure they made a note of it. not even a single ounce of compassion as a former employee of Baptist Im not surprised though going to Nicklaus Children from now.

I was very impressed with the service I received at South Miami Hospital. I went for a thyroid biopsy. The team on the second floor was extremely kind considerate and professional. They are a top notch team

Everyone was great. The wait a bit long but pleasant enough. My procedure was quick well explained and uneventful. My discharge papers were ready before I even got back to my room

Care received in surgery department was amazing they were very organized and professional. Everyone explained what was going to happen very clearly everything was smooth everyone who cared for me knew their job well and were very attentive. I have had 2 surgeries in this hospital 2 in their outpatient center and one in main Baptist Hospital and my experience in all of them has been great the care provided at Baptist Health has been great the nurses and physicians that work for this company are great other employees too . I have no complains . To all who had a part in my care thank you for the amazing care you have provided

My experience today at Baptist for my mammogram appointment was very well organized. I have nothing negative to say about my experience Nadia and Sharon were welcoming and warm. They guided you through every step even anticipating all my questions. Getting your breasts squeezed is never fun. But they made the experience totally great.

The staff was wonderful and the facilities were nice. My only encouragement is to improve communications on directions. I received multiple reminders for my appointment but none of them indicated that I needed to go directly to the Imaging Center nor directions on how to get there or park. That would be an important improvement.

I went for a CT scan. I entered the imaging center and was immediately greeted with a smile and can I help you. The efficiency was excellent. The staff were all very professional and empathetic. I was in and out in less than 1 hour. The amazing part is that the results were posted in the portal 2 hours later. Having a facility like South MiamiBaptist in my neighborhood is a real benefit Thank you all.
