This is a very solid clinic. The medical assistants and receptionists are all super great go above and beyond and you can tell they really like working with kids even when its not super fun and really challenging emotionally. Between my two kiddos weve seen quite a few different providers. I personally have had the best experience with Dr.Hoffman and Dr. Segedy. I have only had one bad experience but I went back to that same provider after that and it worked out. Just wouldnt be my first choice when there is one. Great for routine well checks and primary care. Good at getting kids in same day for urgent illnesses like strep COVID ear infections crud ect that you want to treat quickly but dont necessarily want to wait for hours at Urgent Care or ER for. Good for referrals. Biggest challenge is finding the provider that you gel with best and getting them to listen if you have anything that isnt straightforward and routine. I had to go through 3-4 different providers with my son who they told me was just colicky and was told I should just wait until hes 4 months and will grow out of it. Turns out hes sensitive to dairy he was getting through my breastmilk. I cut out diary from my diet and within 72 hours he was in so much less pain wasnt crying for hours anymore still some gas and some difficulty passing BM but overall SO much improvement. No one asked to see pics of his diaper no one asked to test his stool for blood no one asked if either my husband or I had a dairy intolerance my husband did from birth until about 10 years old no one suggested I trial an elimination diet no one suggested allergy testing. I had to find the majority of information and guidance I needed on my own. It wasnt until I scheduled my son with Dr.Hoffman that someone really listened and she referred us to a pediatric allergist to help us navigate these complicated waters of food sensitivityallergies as we breastfeed and also how to safely introduce solids as he gets older. A couple people even suggested I stop breastfeeding and just switch to formula which is super bad advice for many reasons. Nothing against formula its just not what works best for us and also doesnt solve the problem when you dont know for sure what your babe can tolerate. Anyways Id say overall a great clinic. 45 stars.

I will always recommend anyone to South Lake pediatrics especially will always recommend Pat Zajac She is the kindest most compassionate provider I have ever met. I had her as my doctor when I was little and now my girls see her. I can not speak highly enough about her. If you want a provider who listens to your concerns and takes them seriously and is able to communicate and explain things perfectly We love her

Literally best pediatricians anywhere- we came from Bay Area and the level of care and skill and knowledge surpasses anything we got in Bay. If I could give ten stars I would. Dr. Segedy in particular has amazing insights to us as parents and has been a guiding influence in how we parent and how we can be prepared for every new phase of our growing toddlers development.

Dr. Segedy is 1000 AMAZING We have moved all over the country in the military and have had all different types of doctors for my two boys. I have always wished I could find someone as fun laid back knowledgeable honest and caring as our first pediatrician back in Colorado and 8 years and many states later we finally found him One boy had an injury and the other is trying to figure out some pretty big anxiety right now. Two different types of appointments and Dr. Segedy matched the tone of each one with kindness lightheartedness professionalism and compassion. So so SO grateful for him and his staff
