Introduction
My name is Sophi, and I’m a pediatric speech-language pathologist in greater Sacramento, CA. I serve clients ages 0 to 18 using a child-led, strengths & play based, and neurodiversity-affirming approach. My goal is to teach through regulation, connection, and family support. My expertise includes early intervention & early language, AAC, autism / ASD, and parent coaching. I’m passionate about making communication natural and motivating, while empowering families with tools to build on these skills. Others describe me as warm and nurturing. When I’m not in therapy, I love being outdoors with my husband & son, learning about integrative/holistic wellness, and running my parent-toddler play & speech program.

Connection is at the heart of my work, as I focus on building trusting relationships with children and remain attuned to regulation and sensory needs. Being family-centered means supporting parents with guidance and tools that fit into everyday activities, ensuring skills carry over beyond sessions and into long term communication growth.
Who are you best positioned to serve?
I’m best positioned to serve infants & toddlers ages 0-3. I also work well with children with autism or ASD, supporting communication through strengths-based and neurodiversity-affirming approaches. Additionally, I have experience supporting children who benefit from AAC, helping families feel confident using tools that encourage communication in everyday activities. My approach emphasizes connection, parent coaching, and functional communication that fits naturally into a child’s daily life and family environment.
