I can only speak for those Ive met who are involved with the MAT program but every employee Ive met here so far has been incredibly kind understanding and genuinely sincerely seem to care about and have sympathy for their patients. Pam Irene the pharmacy tech at the in-house pharmacy and everyone else in bldg 6 Ive met whos names I dont remember sorry guys have all been very good to me so far. I know some SMA locationsservices may need improvement but I am so SO very thankful for the MAT program here. If anyone working here reads this thank you so much for doing what you do. Youve made a huge difference for me in a short time and Im sure for many others too. And thank you SMA for running and offering this program

I think SMA is one of the better maybe even the best psychiatry offices in Daytona. They accept my insurance and the psychiatrists and psychiatric nurses are kind. They are honestly more personable and empathetic than anything Ive seen in other practices and they seem to genuinely care about your health and do their best to help you. They are pretty transparent about their diagnoses and thorough about their treatment plansoptions for you.My only problem with SMA is the scheduling- its very tight and not typically flexible or filled with cancellations. Ive had to cancel appointments due to exams or work obligations and had to wait an additional month at the earliest to see my doctor. However to compensate for this they are very helpful at getting small extensions to medications to last until your next visit.I very much would recommend this practice to others.

Had an appointment scheduled for 730 a.m. but they didnt open the doors until 800. Three people outside waiting for an appointment all said they were scheduled for 730 or 745. So we had to sit in the sun for half an hour waiting. When we finally got in they said the department we were looking for had moved across town. All of the people waiting needed that other department. Arriving at the other department they no longer do appointments and was walk in first come first serve. Ended up having to leave for work and left my girlfriend there for 4 hours until her appointment. Horrible scheduling and coordination.

I recently lost my daughter and am having a hard time dealing with her passing I am seeing a therapist and doctor through SMA and I am so glad I found them.. I always bring my 4yr old with me to see my doctor and everyone in that building has made us feel welcomed and comfortable. My doctor and her nursing assistant is my daughters favorite two ppl there and mine my little one runs in from the excitement of seeing them.. They have helped me cope and get through our loss and I am blessed to have found them

Have had a nightmare of a time twice now in getting appointments and medication. I needed to have an appointment to continue receiving my medication and the next appointment was in two months. I said okay so should I expect any issues for suddenly stopping my medication and the person on the phone says oh dont stop your medication. I respond but I cant get a refill until my appointment and after a pause she decides to send me to the med line voicemail. I leave a message asking for a refill until my appointment. Then later I get notified of a refill from my pharmacy right as I run out but when days pass and theres no confirmation of my medication being ready I call and am informed that they have tried to contact my doctor but cant reach them. I have to call them myself. I do and am transferred to the pharmacy not the right department to fill prescriptions and they transfer me to the med line again. I am later informed that I never set an appointment I did so I do so finally get my prescription and am on my way. Then I get covid and have to cancel my appointment. I schedule a new one a month later and leave another voicemail asking for one more month of my prescription. I get another notification from my pharmacy as I run out again. Since Ive made an appointment I assumed things were okay but days once again pass with no word and I call my pharmacy myself to find out that once again the office is ignoring their attempts to contact and I have to do it myself five days past stopping my medication and on a Friday. I call but I DO have an appointment successfully set this time. They send me to the pharmacy line again for some reason and I tell them I wasnt transferred to the right line so they send me to the med line again.Ive now twice been left without my depression meds for a week each the side effects have been awful been transferred incorrectly to the pharmacy line twice for no reason and left four separate messages none of which were actually replied to by the way. I just have to hope Ill be notified that the prescription was approved or otherwise just wait for nothing to happen and call again. Im sick of it and just want to either find someone else to take over where theyre failing or otherwise wean myself off this medication and find some other treatment so I never have to deal with them again. If you have any other options for the love of God take it. Avoid them at all costs.
