Introduction
Hi, I'm Sid, a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist based in Gwinnett County, Georgia, with two years of experience in private practice and telehealth. I work with the pediatric and school-age population who have receptive/expressive language delays, speech sound challenges, or emerging AAC use.
I became an SLP because I enjoy supporting individuals as they overcome communication challenges and build confidence in their abilities. My sessions are personalized, engaging, and focused on real-life communication. I value collaboration with families and clients to provide take home strategies to promote generalization beyond the session. I am also currently developing my skills with adults and look forward to taking on adult clients in the future!
Outside of work, I enjoy going to the movies, trying new restaurants, bowling, taking walks around various parks, and exploring creative activities!
What words would you use to describe yourself?
Patient
Personable
Adaptable
I chose patient, personable, and adaptable because they reflect me and how I approach therapy. Being patient helps me support clients at their own pace and celebrate each step of progress. Being personable allows me to connect with clients and families, making sessions comfortable and engaging. Being adaptable lets me adjust activities and strategies to fit each person’s needs, helping them make steady progress in communication and feel more confident every day.
Who are you best positioned to serve?
I’m best positioned to serve the pediatric and school-age population who have language delays, speech sound challenges, or emerging AAC use. I work most effectively with clients and families who understand that progress looks different for everyone. I’ve seen the most successful outcomes happen when clients practice outside of therapy and families actively support their growth. As I continue building my skills with the adult population, I’m also open to supporting adults who need communication or cognitive-communication support.
